Us top, Brighton second and hopefully Leeds or Sheff Wed via the play offs. Gan radge, neck cowies.
-
Is the earliest we can be promoted vs Leeds? I personally think it'll be vs Ipswich or Preston. If it's the former it'll be quite funny that the one game Sky didn't pick to show us going up is the one we go up in.

People complaining about not seeing entertaining football obviously never watched Rafa's Liverpool teams. They were workmanlike despite having quality players and found ways to win in all sorts of games. When they came up here they way they decided to win was by absolutely pummelling us. I bet people weren't saying his team's weren't entertaining when they gave us utter drubbings.

Nah, it's a GIF that symbolises both my and probably the rest of the forum's thoughts that you're talking utter shite.

5 are on TV actually. Ipswich away is on overseas TV so it'll be on your favourite Kodi applications. Wasn't pretty today, but we had to get the job done and we did. They didn't particularly trouble us, their goal was down to Lascelles acting like a Sunday League defender. Also, how atrocious is the refereeing in this league? Ritchie's penalty non decision was fucking outrageous. Also towards the end Shelvey was driving forward on the break towards the end and a Wigan defender was all over him, pulling his shirt and his arm, the ref was looking straight at it the whole time and nowt was given. So bad. And the fight on the touchline between the Wigan manager and the coach who does our set pieces after the Ritchie penalty decision was mint Nevertheless, it's 3 points and we should be getting the same on Wednesday. HTL.

Had us down to win this 3-0. Hopefully Hayden is back so we can see the back of Alsoran for a bit.

Blamed him for not tracking back I presume?

Ben Arfa was probably the most exciting. Cabaye was quality in 2011/12 too. So was Wijnaldum, when he was arsed in the first 9 home games of the season.

Only saw Shearer once live, miles past his best at my first game, 2005 FA Cup 3rd Round tie at home to Mansfield Town. Dross game. Only things I remember is that we won 1-0, Shearer scored the winner with about 10 minutes to go and Mansfield had a player called Tipton. Everytime I watch Colback a bit of me dies inside.

And I know football existed before 1992, it's just I didn't.

Thought ha'way was the mackem variant. It's outside their ground while howay is in the tunnel at our ground.

Best way to show it's the thoughts of your everyday stereotypical match going fan. Is that not the wrong howay is your avatar?

Regarding the quality of football, no it's the greatest spectacle on the planet but it's what you get with our manager. Rafa is all about control. Controlling games with possession or by limiting chances and breaking dangerously each time (a la Huddersfield away). He would've loved the Brentford home game, absolute control of the game for 90 minutes, and running out 3-1 winners - their goal was a second ball from a set piece. It was a game I barely remember aside from the goals, which is what he is about. It's why there was a lack of changes until late away at Blackburn, we had complete control of the game. We need to get used to it and pack in the "Ergh but ah want moar attakin! Ah want two up frunt! Gan radge!". This way of playing has us top. Plus I'm sure that it works, especially in the Premier League. We've seen it for ourselves, when his Liverpool sides came here and absolutely dicked us on several occasions.

It's more about who we bring in next season than ship out imo. Haven't seen enough of Lazaar and Gamez. The latter must have something to be at Atletico Madrid. Get shot of Sels, Hanley, Sammy, Gouffran, Mitrovic and I hate to say it but Murphy. Been a canny servant for us but at his age and not really playing at PL level in his career we should go for better.

We've been scoring more than the other teams for quite a lot of the season, hence our league position.- 123 replies

Pardew didn't manage Thauvin, it was SpacClaren. But I agree though, was mismanaged awfully.

Birmingham City vs The Championship Table Toppers!!!
Haydnator replied to StoneColdStephenIreland's topic in Newcastle Forum
I swear most of our fanbase are deep down secret PFMs. "But ah want mur attakin! Gan 2 up frunt man!" We've been top of the league for two thirds of the season for quite a good reason.- 123 replies

Stopped reading at "Benitez over-thought the league". Haven't read a bigger load of wank than that since the Mag.
