I wan't aware of there being titties at the Sports Cafe. Like I said - I've not been there before. If anyone else would like to suggest somewhere and make a decision on it then please feel free.
-
But you've not exactly spent a comparable amount of time in Newcastle as you have in Southampton.
-
Looks like it! 48087 Okay, well as I've never been in there, but assume it's a huge place, why don't we say we'll meet by the pool tables - wherever they may be?
-
We doing the new Sports Cafe then?
-
Do iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!! Put the heating on!

It wasn't a test to see if you'd have sympathy - it was just something that happened in our place recently.....
-
I'm not getting into the sympathy debate cos I can see it from both sides. Yes, there are times when it's hard for nurses to be sympathetic in different situations - we're only human after all, but we have to be as it's our duty of care and that's what we're there for. On the suicide thing - we had an 11-year-old lad in A&E last week who had attempted suicide after being bullied at school. The kid was epileptic and had taken all of the anti-convulsant tablets that he had, plus as many paracetamol he could get his hands on. He was unconscious when he was found and had to be resusciated and ventilated when he got to A&E and ended up in paediatric intensive care. How sad is that when a kid of 11 feels like his life is worth nothing and that it's the only option. I don't think I really even understood what suicide was when I was that age.

At the risk of being accused (by some!) of two-timing Toonraider , you are more than welcome to join me out here . Shorts and tee shirt weather, all of the time; just what my body needs . 48016 Can I be a spy and help you on your secret missions? 48022 I thought these were the spy shades 48024 But there's no walkie-talkie. There has to be a walkie-talkie!

What did the mummy buffalo say to her child as he left for school? Bison.

The sooner you get to 30 the better tbh. 47878 Why, what have you got planned? 47908 There's probably not much his heart can handle once he gets that old

Technically quite difficult I would have thought, unless you just use them to dab the corners of your eyes with of course........

I'm seriously thinking about thermals for the games this winter. Sexyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

I just cannot get warm today at all. I went to bed freezing last night and I'm sat here shivering despite having the heating and a jumper on. I think I must be cold-blooded. I hate being cold. I'm going to move abroad.

And happy birthday Matty. Have a good'un petal

Oh gawd, we're not starting all this again, are we?

I think you may need to speak to Peasepud about this. I know he had a bit of a thing for someone from Teachers a while back but I'm not sure which bird it was...

Same here really. Had a class A section when I first came on but nowt since. Best not say too much like cos there's still time for a multi-trauma patient or something.. 47177 Cath, what ward are you in? IC? Casualty? Obviously not pediatrics, mind you when you get a bunch of old folk together, whooo, better watch out! 47178 Im in operating theatres and also carry a maternity pager for if they have any emergency caesarians that I have to run to. We sometimes go through to casualty if the anaesthetist needs a hand with a patient aswell. We do paediatric surgery, but not a great deal
