1. No-one has answered my question about the newspaper thing yet.
2. The Beatles, The Searchers and The Hollies in my house
3. Cheeky bastid! Re: the lads taking the newspaper into the bog. Do you actually just poo for the first 30 seconds you're in there and then continue to read the paper before you wipe? Or do you strategically make the experience last for as long as it takes you to read the paper? Just curious
4. With a mortgage against the property they become a secured creditor. The money they loan you is secured against the value of the property and as such if you default they could sell (their) house to realise the debt you owe them. With an overdraft there is no such security. They would be unsecure creditors (meaning they could not force you to sell anything) and clearly they dont see you as capable of paying off a debt without this option. 78101 You somekind of lawyer or something? 78126 In the loosest sense of the word.
5. Never known a bloke yet who would make scones to impress a woman like..
6. you mean like 'intereseted' ?? 77966 Bog off - I'd just got up
7. She's not intereseted - move on.
8. Didn't he weigh in at 19-stone or something?
9. My mam's a ginga. Luckily it would appear that my father's genes were the dominant factor in both mine and my brothers cases.
10. As this thread is about Mansfield fans, it seems the best place to post this. I'm not at liberty to divulge too many details but a group of 4 lads were travelling up for the game at the weekend when their car was involved in an RTA. They were all injured and one of them died of his injuries whilst undergoing surgery in hospital. Puts the bickering and sniping of rival fans into perspective. RIP.
11. She needs to stop whingeing about how badly done to she is. She doesn't seem to be able to make the connection between the fact that she desperately courts the media and looks and acts like a complete slapper and the fact that she gets derogotary things written about her. If it wasn't for the media love, you wouldn't be in there. Pete Burns was pathetic yesterday bleating on the diary room about how he was shaking and nervous because he's "never unpacked my own suitcase before and I don't even know what's in there!"
12. Which is why I'm not a lawyer. Emotions however are very real, and there have been several times in my professional career where I have had to treat and care for patients that I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire should I encounter them in the street. However, I have a professional duty of care and have to get on with it. Doesn't mean I do so with a happy heart - I just have no grounds for professional conscientious objection in these cases.
13. This from the woman who gets upset about someone killing a cat............ 76092 I don't understand your point really, Rob. Yes, I get upset about someone killing cats. As Gemmill said, I also get upset about someone killing innocent children. I find it despicable and unimaginable. As for the 'eye for an eye' thing - I don't really know why I would want someone to be tortured daily, as in logic and reason, I know that it's just as bad. It just makes me angry that an adult can do something like this to bairns and I can't understand what makes them do it.
14. 76004 What it doesn't say in Graeme's little post-match analysis up there was that the Sky blokey said something along the lines of "To the neutral football fan, it could be suggested that you were outplayed for large parts of the game today" To which Graeme replies "No, I don't think so" Funny - I could have sworn I saw him at the game today and it was blatantly ferking obvious that we WERE outplayed.

Are they all inflatable?
16. And just like the Murphy's - you're not bitter Please note - I am neither a Scouse sympathiser, nor a BTRA. I just watched the replays a couple of times. NJS - No idea why it was a yellow and take your point
17. Nice of Graeme to show his face today... Yeah, we're pretty similar to Chelsea having won by just the one goal And the longer the game went on, the more the fans were thinking "Shouldn't we actually have scored by now? We're playing fucking MANSFIELD TOWN for fuck's sake!"
18. There's a sticky at the top of the page already for people selling their spare tickets.
19. What in the name of God goes on in the heads of these people? What part of their brain actually allows them to carry out physical actions resulting in the murder of a 4 year-old, a 2-year old, and a 9 month-old baby and then impale them on railings? It's just incomprehensible. Utterly, utterly unfathomable. He should be kept locked up and tortured every single day for the rest of his life.
20. Not the case - the referee got that penalty wrong. Firstly the incident began outside of the penalty area and then replay clearly shows that Carson had no contact with Vine who stepped on the keeper and then went to ground. Tough one to call by the ref though.
21. Anyone watching this one? Ferking hell - it's a proper cup tie. When it was 3-1 to Luton I was delighted - no Liverpool for us to come up against in the next round would be nice! Now? Well.....erm....sheeeeyit.
22. I'm pleased that we won, and that we're through to the next round although it scares the shit out of me after seeing the totally incompetent way that we dealt with a team who are only 4 places from the bottom of the entire football league in this country. I still can't bring myself to actually want to lose a game despite knowing that it'll probably bring Souness ever closer to his demise. The atmosphere from our fans was pretty weird today. There was a lot of unrest and nervousness and some booing at half time, but there were very few 'Souness Out-ers' from what I could hear. A couple of our fans did join in with the Mansfield fans "Taxi for Souness" like, but it certainly didn't feel like it was the general consensus which I found a bit odd.
23. Just home from this debacle myself. Absolutely fucking appauling. Pleased for Shearer equalling the record but there were no other positives. Never have I been so bastard freezing and wanted to leave a match early in my life. Absolutely cracking set of Mansfield fans like. Fair play to them and their team.
