  1. Throughout the whole film it was bugging me as Crowe's voice reminded me of someone else. A few days later I realised it was David Essex and I've watched it subsequently just waiting for him to burst into "Oh What a Circus" from Evita.
  2. Anyone seen Inside Out yet? His dad normally takes him to the cinema but I've baggsied this one - going tomorrow.
  3. Nah. I was a baby student nurse who was really impressed that a GP would pop into hospital to see his patients. Little did I know that he was probably cursing like a cartoon villain that he'd failed at finishing them off on several occasions.
  4. Ohhhhhh hello http://www.mogonthetyne.com/
  5. I met him a couple of times - he clearly didn't teach me very well as mine (almost) always wake up
  6. Yeah but I put people to sleep for a living and my sparkling personality means that I have to do it medicinally
  7. I'm at work so close enough to do so. Unfortunately the absence of a cat, pastry and an oven means it's a bit tricky at the moment I have drugs though. Lots of sleepy drugs...
  8. Feel free to drop by, I'll make two.
  9. Have a bit of decorum man! You're not in Dicksons now
  10. Certainly sir Today's special is warm cat shit-filled, with a flaky pastry crust.
  11. There would be a variety of sweet treats, but I'm not getting into savoury territory
  12. You'd have to go to Mrs Miggin's (aka CT) Authentic Geordie Fusion Emporium.
  13. No! It's not a cafe - it's a coffe/cake shop and you can't take the books home
  14. I'd open a coffee/bookshop. Dark wood bookshelves from floor to ceiling, comfy sofas, homemade cakes and freshly brewed coffee. People could come and go, use it as a bit of time out, take books from the shelves to read and relax for as long as they wanted. A little haven of chilled-out peace and quiet from the real world.
  15. Someone I work with recently bragged about an impending trip to South Africa where he was going big-game hunting. He also happens to be the biggest c**t I've ever had the misfortune to meet, alongside having Little Man (and probably Little Dick) Syndrome. The most amazing trip I've ever had was to South Africa, in no small part for having the opportunity to see these animals in their own habitat. It was a humbling experience and all the recent photos of 'trophy' wild animals sicken me beyond belief. To redress the balance, here's MY lion in Kruger Park. He was quite magnificent and a little perturbed that our jeep had disturbed his kip.
  16. 10 months, shithead! Not that anyone would guess
  17. Just heard on the news that a man has been shot dead with a starter pistol. Police think it may be race related...
  18. I love it. Found myself transfixed at one point (when Astrid first finds out and they take her out to fly) only to find the bairn had buggered off to do something else and I was watching it by myself.
