This game proved two things. If Ashley wants to empty SJP then give Carver the job permanently. And Obertan despite the years he has been here still has a massive lack of self confidence in his ability, which no coach has managed to change.

Fans rarely understand how difficult it is to attract players to Newcastle. Take Delli Alli. He signed for Spurs after turning down us and Villa. I read that before Spurs came in at the last minute his parents wanted him to sign for Villa. Why? Not because they are a better team than us but because it was closer to London. What real chance will he get at Spurs? Probably not much. The other problems can be wives and girl friends, for the same reasons highly rated players don't go to the likes of Stoke, Hull and Sunderland. They want to be seen in all the best places, fashion shows, high fashion shops, movie premieres, showbiz parties, clubs, concerts etc. How many such events are there in Newcastle? So not only do the Management have to sell the club to the player but everything else that goes with it, or pay them stupid money like Sunderland have done with Defoe or we did with Owen.

Abeid is a prime example of our crap coaching staff. If he had stayed instead of going on loan would he have been the player he is turning out to be. The answer is a definite NO. For once a player went to a club where the coaches knew their job and although he was only a loan player obviously spent a lot of time working on his game. We just seem to send out players on loan without ANY thought if they are going to the right club. Apart from Abeid can anyone name one player who has looked as if he has improved when he came back from his loan period. Why do clubs not send their players here on loan. The answer is obvious.

Of the 5 players on loan who would you want to recall if we had injuries in their positions.

Suggestion - complain to your local MP and get the law changed. Oh, I forgot they also employ people on zero contracts. There are hundreds of major companies who don't have any employee share bonus schemes. If you ran a Company with large customer fluctuations you would probably do the same. Eg. Cinemas, Theatres, theme parks, hotels, restaurants, pubs, call centres. Or maybe you would rather go out of business, or employ less staff on contracts thereby having more people on the dole.

Strange. Colo is 10 years older than him and when Colo signed for us, FF was only starting his career at Banfield, Argentina. Must have been a very long distance friendship as their paths only crossed when he signed on loan.

What evidence do you have that Colo was a friend of FF before he signed on loan?

Why would anyone attack the SD share price? I am sure the SD staff who qualify through Ashley's share bonus scheme would love you for that. Ashley will sell up when he wants to not when an outsider tells him.
