He's sat next to fat mike as well, I wonder what patter he's coming out with to try and sound like he knows what he's talking about

That's assuming the mackems with their £23m operating losses don't implode financially after their relegation and manage to stay up in the Championship

Annoying as fuck that with nowt to play for our most entertaining player is on the bench. He's off in the summer like 100%
-
Thought he looked a bit leaner on Saturday
-
He should be so much better than he is, so annoying

They're strong down the left and MYM doesn't fill me with much confidence, think it'd be a mistake playing Hatem RM tonight, probably go MYM - Willo - Colo - Santon Sissoko - Tiote - Anita - Gouff Hba Cisse

The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread
ClubSpinDoctor replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
Howay man, it'll be 5 or 6 by the end of the season... there'll be a Ryan Taylor injury update on the official site alongside pictures of him doing some light jogging, then all of a sudden it'll be 4 or 5. Then approaching September Cabella will go to Southampton who we can't compete with because we've got a responsibility to be financially prudent but we'll still be hoping one or two come in by the end of the week. Then we'll sign De Jong for £2m and hopefully look to get one more in, fail and sell Santon because having 3 left backs means we sell the most valuable one. -

I don't want to, honestly, but I refuse to let the FCB lower my expectations to the level where someone like him is anywhere near good enough for us. He might get a little bit better, but he hasn't got any stand-out attributes to get excited about has he? -

There isn't many Lukaku's and Remy's out there though. I'd be all for loans if there was. You're more likely to end up with a De Jong or a Bendtner -

Agreed he would have, for a season. Then the gap widens again when they either take him back or his form increases his value/attracts interest elsewhere. Even the Remy loan is shit on our part because we could have bought him for a reasonable price and tied him to a contract - and now our chances of getting him are slim to none imo. -

Our friendly red and white neighbours have relied heavily on loans over the years and it's part of the reason why they seem to have 'overhauls' every other season. Ironic as well that they cite stability by signing Pards up for 8 years then start bringing in first team players on short term loans. -

Maybe, maybe not, but borrowing the players that those clubs deem not good enough for them isn't going to close the gap either and if said players do improve us enough to close the gap, the parent club will just take said player back or at the very least increase their asking price, and we're back to square one. -
It's telling the way he had a long look over to the linesman after it went in like

What? Who mentioned outspending them? If we spent what we generated then we'd be more likely to be seen as a threat to them, leaving them less likely to lend us players. The fact that we don't and the idea of them being willing to improve our team as we're not seen as a threat is embarrassing for a club of our size, to me it is anyway. What part of that is difficult to comprehend? -
We don't want Ashley out now they're out of the cups That was my main reason for hating him like.

I was having a shit and posting on my phone, couldn't see the above post whilst I was posting, what a sad case. Why would that still leave us behind everyone above us but Everton? You do realise that the more you achieve, the greater your spending power becomes, right? -
The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread

We should be spending the money we generate, which in turn should be making us more competitive. Which in turn should make top clubs reluctant to loan to us. No devine rights about it -

ClubSpinDoctor replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
It's not really an issie of there being quality to be had, more embarrassing and small time because if we were where we should be then said top clubs wouldn't allow us to loan their players. Basically by loaning from them they're dismissing us as rivals, which is of course the reality but it doesnt mean I have to like it -
