  1. Definitely does. Renaming Shearer's for example, I can't think of any reason to do it other than being on the wind-up. Do people still get in there? I've only been in once and the pint was rank so never went again, but if I was a regular I wouldn't be after that stunt.
  2. You can Doctor, but this is a symptom of a vicious circle, as the team winning only empowers him. The prognosis being that he stays and goes nowhere!
  3. It's a nice idea but the reality is you can't do one without the other. I'll still go occasionally for the day out more than anything, but more sparingly than normal. I work too hard for my money for it to buy helicopter fuel for overweight charver businessmen
  4. Well that just blows my cheque out of the water, doesn't it!
  5. You actively prepare numerous graphs about how the cunt is fleecing us financially - I don't believe you're as blase about the situation as you make out!
  6. But does it even feel good anymore? I barely even enjoy victory now, all I can think of is the FCB and his puppet being rewarded because they're meeting expectations whilst falling short of ours.
  7. Quarter finals of the world cup on Saturday not that's a no, and if by some miracle England are in it then for most of us Sunday won't be an option either Love a chilli though!
  8. Seeing as he seems a little bit stuck in his ways he could mix it up just a little, go shopping with Mike Ashley or get slapped in the face by his lass wearing a strap-on.
  9. Oh and fielding a weakened side in F.A Cup when we were already cut adrift from the top and bottom clubs, guaranteed mid table nothingness. Another low light of the season. Confirmation that they don't even want to try to win something. Some people see it as commendable to keep going regardless and not letting him stopping you from doing something you enjoy. But the reality is they're 'enablers' !
  10. Carroll's sale was a no-brainer the offer was just obscene, Ba's unavoidable. Being moved seats was a minorty etc. It's difficult to accept the situation we're in and there has been a couple of moments of renewed optimism, finishing fifth, the mini spending spree last winter etc. But selling our (by far) best player for about what he's worth in the middle of a promising season, with plenty of time to replace him and not doing it and letting our season implode like that, then letting a manager that's getting spanked by mediocre teams week-in week-out keep his job even when the perfect opportunity presented itself to get rid (the headbutt) - there's no optimism anymore. Anyone that goes back next year is like one of them lasses that keeps going back to a abusive relationship.
  11. Think his bonus was 100k, Mike's already sorted that conundrum!
  12. The sort of sale that'll drive more renewals away, we'll be down to a no-self-respect 25-30k hardcore soon
  13. I didn't take any on anything but I applied for an overdraft online and selected no to ppi with it and they just acted as if I'd said yes and started charging me it. I rang up to complain once I realised and they said I'd have to cancel it via snail mail to some company, with it only being 4 quid a month I never bothered. When all the ppi thing kicked off I sent an email explaining what happened and a few weeks later they gave me £350 and I thought fair enough. Then today they sent me another 470 apologising for miscalculating interest and fees etc that was due. Now I've got five shifts to do before I can have a day off, bastard!
  14. A fucking fantastic one. Just opened a letter that I expected to be a bill and a cheque that I was in no way expecting fell out Overdraft protection ppi refund that I got a couple of years ago was miscalculated apparently. Regretting the punishing weekend of overtime at work I've put myself through now!
  15. Safe in the table, want a bargain. He's probably under strict instructions not to score. I find that more feasible than him actually being as shit as he's looked.
  16. If he was as aggressive with Ashley as he was with Meyler he'd be a lot more likeable. I don't like how he just constantly accepts getting fucked over, our players don't put in ballsy displays because the manager hasn't got a set.
  17. I think we need some older players, if he brings some leadership qualities then sign him up. We haven't really got anyone on the pitch that'll bollock someone for playing shit. Selling Nolan was minging
  18. He'll spend some money out necessity because we'll go down otherwise and it shouldn't be mistaken for ambition or intent.
  19. Fulham win to put the mackems bottom please, finishing there would be the icing on their relegation for me
  20. Can everyone remember when we were told there'd be a marquee signing and we signed Coloccini and were told he was it and we were mortified? Then imagine spending that on a player now.
  21. They probably are class but it just doesn't become apparent till Pardew leaves. Like at Sarrrrfhampton
  22. Leon Best Xisco Cisse The only strikers Mike Ashley has paid a transfer fee for. How long has he owned us now?
  23. Have we got three left backs on the pitch?
