That looks and sounds like a pretty interesting toy Tom. I remember back in the day when I picked up a Digitech EchoPlus with 8 sec digital delay / sampling. Always wanted to play like Brian May on the live version of Brighton Rock. Never quite got there Sadly I burned out the EchoPlus a few years back, loved that thing. I'll have to look around for this Looper. On a side note, I pulled my old Ibanez out last week. It's an old "golden era" RG560. After playing pretty much nothing but my mandolin for the past year, that neck felt HUGE! I've still got the bug for a Gibson, but am actually thinking about a Les Paul now instead of an ES series.

LOL He has a problem expressing his true feelings I see.

I haven't exactly seen any player step up and take responsibility for how awful they've been playing and try to lead the squad. I know we have been playing musical armbands, but have you heard of one player stepping up to show some heart and challenge himself and teammates to play better? I've seen gutless wonders hang their heads, shrug and disappear til next match. To pin it all on Pardew is off the mark imo. Where's the pride and heart from the players? They all under gag? Edit... Ok, I guess Gouffran sort of came out with a little ownership today, but there's not been much heart shown lately.

Walk out of my meetings to see an 0 - 4 score. Nice kick in the gut. A blunt one though as it wasn't entirely unexpected.

Was wondering who the sad old lady in the red tie was. Moyes was pumping his fist like he thought Fulham were Arsenal. Sad state of affairs. Wednesday should be interesting, although Chelski are probably not happy that it seems Arsenal have a patsy.

Heh. We can be optimistic for a minute now that JFK is gone. Until Ashley crushes our hopes with yet another loan I guess.

Not much we can do with the squad that Kinnear and Ashley have left us. Would love to see Jonathyn Quinn playing right now, but that would probably crush his soul. Afraid that de Jong's soul will be crushed by this situation as it is. By the time Remy and Tiote are both back - and we have a chance to make it look respectable - it'll be over anyway. Time to look forward to potential additions in the summer.

Not sure why he didn't pass to Sissoko, not that it matters.

Ba is playing like Ivanovic, just pushing people out of the way.

Yeah that Marveaux is quality

Mostly invisible because of lack of pressure. Decent header chance but lacked power. Some nice defensive spots for him early.

You would think that Chelsea fans would show a bit more life with their club heading to the top of the league, but they mostly look like they are checking Facebook on their phones.

It was.

Hazard making poor decisions because he sniffs the hat trick.

Nice chance there.

I would think that if there is a genuine interest in selling, he's probably already having conversations with a perspective buyer. He making any odd business trips lately? I'm more inclined to think that he will make some moves to shore up the talent over the summer in fear of relegation. Who knows, maybe Kinnear actually surprised Ashley with his incompetence. Long shot I know, but who knows.

A guy at work is a pretty big Chelski fan, good guy. He walks into my office this morning and says, "We're going to be alright Monday, right? You're not going to be mad at me, because you know Mourinho will be thinking about goal differential". I told him he would probably enjoy the match and he commiserated with me about all of the things going on with Newcastle before walking out. Then it hit me - he felt sorry for me and for Newcastle. Pathetic. I know he respects the club, but I'd rather have animosity and angst about the game than pity from my friendly neighborhood Chelski fan. Ah well, they do typically turn out against higher caliber teams and tank against teams that have no business playing close to them. Who knows. Maybe hoofing it to DeJong will pay off or something.

The Remy red card for the derby. Tiote with a hamstring.... It must be The Curse of the Kebab! Like the old curse of the Bambino and the billygoat curse in American baseball.

Good point. They likely would have thrown some red meat out for the fans if this were the motive. Something else is up.

Sums it up fairly well. -
I don't know, he put the club up for sale in '08 after the Keegan fiasco. And gutted as the squad is now, it's a slow march to relegation. The big questions is, what is he going to do about it? - Shore up just enough talent to keep the club up - Seriously try to improve the club aiming for the top of the league - Look for a rich NBA player, Thai dictator, sheik to buy the club My guess is the first one, but who knows.

Fuck me. I wake up in a good mood, check the score. First thing that comes to mind - Fuck you Mike Ashley. Guess I can free up some space on the DVR. Depressing.
