£4 for a 250cl bottle of Carling in 1991 was extortionate. £4.50 for the smallest hot dog known to man in the stadium no onions or sauce as well. He took the money first the bastard otherwise I'd have told him were to shove it. I'd been to loads of gigs up & down the country. City Hall, arenas, stadiums, festivals so knew you got ripped off but this was ridiculous

The UK has recorded 48,553 COVID cases and 63 more deaths in the latest 24-hour period.

"Youth Gone Wild" 😁

Sebastian Bach was pissed off as the band had received a letter from the council saying they'd stop the show if the used the word "Fuck" in the show. They had a song called Get The Fuck Out which they played after Baz read out the letter

Yeah spent a fortune in the stadium as they were only selling the smallest bottles of carling ive ever seen at £4 a pop.

I got the bus from Central Station at 6am on the Saturday morning. Dropped off at Wembley Stadium in for the show it was a red hot day 94c in the stadium. Skid Row, Nine Inch Nails & Guns & Roses. Bus back to Central Station arrive 6am Sunday morning. Up to Haymarket bus station & sit around until the buses started about 10am. Happy days & great memories

I've only ever been to the old Wembley Stadium in 1991 to see Guns n Roses. I remember it being just off the motorway near an industrial estate. Is it still in that location ? If so as PL said how was anyone allowed to get near the ground with out checking they at least had a ticket

I hope so as well. Me, Mrs T & the 2 adult kids that live at home are all double jabbed. But we will all continue to do what we've been doing. There's no way any of us intending charging headlong into crowded places etc. Click & collect food shopping & a little run out in the car will do for us.

Wether the app is a bit of a fuck on to load up wasnt the problem. The fact they weren't even asked to show any proof is concerning. In 4 weeks time thr new season kicks off. With thousands of people turning up at grounds 10 minutes before kick off. There's no way they're going to be checked either.

This from an article on The Mag's website someone who went to the England v Italy final. I was desperately trying to load the NHS app but was having no joy. As we finally got to the stewards we were just waved straight through. No tickets checked, no Covid guarantees given. Just a free-for-all for anyone and everyone to approach the stadium.

Another one of my grandsons having to isolate as kid in his class has tested positive. Over the past few weeks thats my son & now 2 grandsons from different households having to isolate. Thankfully nobody developed symptoms hope the little fella doesn't either

Yeah in a few weeks time when cases are rocketing. Despite SAGE, WHO & over 1,200 doctors advice not to lift everything too soon. Boris will be saying "its not my fault I gave the people what they wanted its their fault" Fuck him he's a cunt

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9783059/SAGE-adviser-warns-rough-winter-ahead-says-lockdown-unlikely.html "More than 1,200 leading scientists are rebelling against No10's decision to push ahead with 'Freedom Day' on Monday, slamming the move as 'criminal' and branding the Government's return to pursuing herd immunity unethical" SAGE modelling shows pushing the button next week could result in between 1,000 and 2,000 daily hospital admissions and 200 deaths. But worst-case projections show that hospitalisations could breach 25,000 and deaths 3,000 — which would dwarf previous peaks.

Death rate risen sharply UK reports 36,660 new cases in last 24 hours - largest rise since January Another 50 deaths within 28 days of a positive test have also been recorded, the highest day-on-day increase since 9 April this year.

Remember working in a textile warehouse when I was younger. The place used to shut down for 2 weeks. Some bright spark thought it would be a good idea to get some students in. It was an absolute nightmare trying to show them what needed doing. They were either falling asleep or nursing hangovers. Quite a few buggered off at dinner time never to be seen again. Eventually they had to bring in staggered holidays

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9781745/Freedom-enjoy-lasts-PM-says-restrictions-end-Monday-reviewed.html Looks like we'll get 11 weeks of "freedom" before we're back in Lockdown. This happened last year when cases were fairly low in the summer. 500+ last July v 34,000+ this July. By the time the schools reopened in September last year we were seeing roughly 1,500 cases a day. Come this September we could see anywhere between 50/100,000+ cases a day. Enjoy your holidays guys stay safe. Then strap yourselves in, because there's a massive shit storm on the way.

Probably hit 40+k this week COVID-19: UK reports 34,471 new cases and six more deaths

COVID-19: UK records 32,367 new coronavirus cases and 34 more deaths COVID-19 cases have risen by 30.7% in the past week while deaths have increased by 43.1% and hospital admissions by 55.9% ahead of the government deciding whether to lift most restrictions on 19 July.
-
Serious question I know most of us are double jabbed here. But how comfortable are you going to be when July 19th comes & we're having anywhere between 50 & 100k new infections a day. Obviously its about being sensible, but there's going to be an awful lot of people that once Boris opens the floodgates they're going to think that's covid done.
-
Public Health Scotland said two thirds of the 1,991 cases were people who travelled to London for Scotland's game with England on 18 June. This included 397 fans who were inside Wembley for the match.

Hope everyone's ok Renton mate. Here's a picture from Wembley last night no social distancing or masks
