2-0 to Everton then.... Cardiff Liverpool Mackems Man City (cup game) Chelsea Spurs And by then i expect the lack of investment to really kick in.
-
Swap us with either Hull or Cardiff i really think we will struggle this season.
-
So what now ? knowing that theres no ambition at the club will there be any kind of backlash ? .
-
They're not arsed about winning cups CT only thing that matters is premiership survival
-
Smashing bloke, salt of the earth, over qualified for us,
-
At least the bloke we borrowed knocked a couple in, joking aside it was an awful performance against a mediocre side. To go ahead twice at home and get nothing from the game with our best starting 11 ( unchanged from last week ) i understand people saying it's only 1 game and if we'd won we'd be joint top. But in reality it would have a false position to be in yeah the feelgood factor would have kicked in from a fans point of view . But the lack of investment and ambition at the club will cost us dearly this season and if we're honest we wont even finish mid table. Best strap yourselves in it's going to be a bumpy ride again the only saving grace is it probably wiped the smile off that fat fuckers face.
-
Piss poor to take the lead twice and lose at home fucking crap
-
Add to that the fat twat will be sat all smug with that "see i didn't need to spend" look on his face
-
Will we start with the same 11 as last week and really go for it ?.
-
When he plays again he should be made to were a straitjacket to keep his hands to himself .
-
A good 3 points and the gamble of not buying anyone paid off yesterday . But there are still some 15 premiership games to play until the window opens again, more games if we progress in the league cup. I agree with JawD a few injuries or suspensions and we're up shit creek . Still 3 points are 3 points Ben Arfa was great again the only downside of that is i can see Ashley counting the money for him already.
-
Keep the pressure on really enjoying this
-
As strong a starting 11 as we've got lets hope they're up for it today.

We now have about 15 premiership games before the window opens with a smaller squad that just escaped relegation. As Stevie says the "mickey mouse clubs" have spent money we borrowed a player ffs the sad reality is we are becoming one of those "mickey mouse clubs". Ashley gambled last year and just about got away with it by buying in January. He's trying it on again this season but at what cost ?.Slowly but surely Pardew is being sold down the river & when it all goes tits up will be first out the door. Don't expect Kinnear to replace Pardew he'll be long gone it wouldn't surprise me if Ashley appointed Beardsley as the next manager. It's going to be another rollercoaster season but sadly i think for all the wrong reasons.- 10610 replies

When the day comes for Ashley and his croanies fuck off and sell up what type of ownership would you prefer ? 1.) A rich oil sheik to throw money at the club. 2.) A local consortium to keep the club stabilised listen to the fans but not have the funds of an oil sheik. 3.) Something in between My choice would be 2 because this club needs to be run by people who understand what this club means to the fans and the region we dont have to be the richest club or have the biggest ground or to have the piss took out of us by someonewho doesnt give a flying fuck as long as your spending your money.I dont go to the ground anymore but watch the matches via the internet there's not many happy faces at the ground at the minute it's like the life is getting sucked out of the club. Some of you will be going for Steve Harper's testimonial game this week, his team are the legends they're what made this club great they didn't win any F.A cups or Premier League titles (not for the want of trying) but they put smiles on faces gave you something to talk about before and after the game and im pretty sure most of them would roll their sleeves up and help out if a local consortium bought the club it's time St James Park was a happy place again unfortunatley at the minute people are laughing at the club we all deserve a club run better than it is now.I'll probably get hammered for this but its how i feel at the minute.

Thanks for the info Tom cheers
-
Fairly decent first 11 yes but very very thin on back up players to cover any injuries
-
He can't even get the players names right i'll bet his negotiation skills are outstanding
-
It's all just smoke & mirrors from Ashley even down to the last day of the window the rumours circulating that we may get Ba back on loan a player we had sold 6 months ago. It was just a case of throwing some crumbs out to placate the fans but i dont believe there was any genuine intention.

How much would he sell the club for ?
