Well I was wrong well done lads you played really well let's keep the momentum going for the Mackems game. We definitely need a proper centre forward crosses were going into the box and nobody was there. I think it was Stevie who said " keep the faith" well I don't mind admitting he was right I was wrong and I'm more optimistic for the next few games now.

Liverpool (h) Mackems (a) Man City (h) league cup Chelsea (h) Spurs (a) Can't see us picking up many if any points over the next few games
-
Well the next 4 Premiership games don't look too clever and in the middle is the league cup game against Man City So we might well be.

One man doesn't make a team but Colo will be a big miss

Bend over bite the pillow and take it because until Ashley goes you have to accept it. Let's face it he's done everything else there's not much left Sacking Hughton Keegan walking away Changing the name of the ground Wonga Sports Direct signs everywhere Renaming Shearer's bar Selling Carroll JFK. Dof No investment in the summer No interest in winning cups Happy to finish mid table Etc etc Remember the early days when Ashley used to stand with the fans knocking the beer back in his Toon top. That's were he worked his magic when he got everyone onside. Looking back it was probably all part of his master plan let them think I'm one of the boys then they'll accept any shit I throw at them. Sadly all he's interested and all he's ever been interested is your money he's not bothered about the football side of Newcastle United Football Club he's not interested how you or I feel about the way he runs things. Because he knows that no matter what every home game there's approximately 50,000 fans in St James Park spending money and week in week out he takes the piss out of that loyalty.
-
He wouldn't have had to use his own money in the summer he had the tv money so that's a load of shite
-
Can you see him spending in January if we're mid table? I can't see him putting his hand in his pocket unless we're about 15/16th.
-
Was it ever reported why he missed those early games?
-
So we're in a mid table position were still in the league cup the and 3 stooges are still running the show are you happy or not?. My big fear is if we're in this league position come January Ashley won't invest in the team. At the moment it's like watching a tightrope walk nervous, exciting knowing one bad decision and it will all come crashing down. The awful thing is if we're not near the relegation zone come January we're stuck with this team this manager and no investment. Also the fact that Ashley will be sat back with that smug look on his face and thinking I got away with it again.

Because of the cracking job Kinnear's done I think Ashley will leave him to do what he does best (go to Greggs the bookies and the off licence).- 10610 replies

So by the time we play Chelsea (league game 10) or Norwich (league game 12) we should be fine. What a load of rubbish this will be from Pardew's new book ... "Trust me it's not my fault"- 10610 replies

We all know it's just a matter of time but the worrying thing is who's next. Would Ashley really stoop so low and let JFK run the circus or do you think even he wouldn't chance that. I would imagine THAT would be the straw that breaks the camels back as far as the fans are concerned. But it is Ashley and so anything possible.- 10610 replies

Or "that's a funny way to hand in your notice ".
-
If we're being honest I think we all realised when there was no investment in the team we would reach a point like this. The only thing is I don't think we thought it would happen so soon. We can expect the usual pre match press conference every week now until Pardew goes. "it's a big game etc etc ". I suppose that leads to the inevitable question who's mad enough to come and work under this regime?. My guess would be Beardsley reserve team manager working under the regime and local hero so that would tick a couple of boxes apart from him who knows?.

Well the Ashley gamble is about to go tits up there doesn't seem to be any team spirit at all. Newcastle over the years have always had a goal scorer a proper front man Mcdonald,Ferdinand,Cole,Shearer,Caroll now I'm not that familiar with modern football terms so bear with me. We don't have a proper front man like the people I've mentioned we seem to rely on players like Ben Arfa, or Cabaye to score wonder goals . When was the last time a Newcastle player scored a hatrick ? I can't remember. If the ball was supplied to those proper front men and it was by our wingers you were almost guaranteed goals and to win games. There's no passion on the pitch the shirt means nothing to these players playing for us there's no team spirit the manager seems clueless and the owners not bothered. The only people who care are the fans the 50,000 who go every fortnight and the millions worldwide who know everything is wrong at the club but still go. I don't no of any other football fans who would put up with what's going on here but it's become acceptable its part and parcel of being a Newcastle fan even the regular kick in the balls of Ashley has now become the normal thing. To me last night was the start of the downward spiral for the club we are now 16th in the league with 5 difficult league games to play I don't see us improving that position in fact we may even drop down further. I'm sure not everyone will agree with what I've wrote and I'm bound to be pulled up by the grammar police but you know at the end of the day that doesn't bother me. What matters is what's happening or not happening at the club.

This is just the start the next 5 premiership games are Cardiff Liverpool Mackems Chelsea Spurs It doesn't look very pleasant does it.
