  1. Some graphs for you to look at here mate. What do you think ? https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-emerging-picture-from-south-africa-suggests-omicron-variant-could-be-real-cause-for-concern-12484064
  2. I hope so I guess we'll start to know more in the next couple of weeks. Myself Mrs T & the kids are all double jabbed. Myself & Mrs T are booked in to have our boosters on December 19th at Killingworth
  3. Aye Boris thought he was being clever calling it the " Wu Flu" then called for "herd immunity" when it eventually sunk in how serious it was he shit his pants & locked the country down to late
  4. This is obviously why countries are concerned. Infections seem to be spread more rapidly than the Delta strain. Dr Michelle Groome of South Africa’s National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) said there had been an “exponential increase” in infections over the past two weeks, from a weekly average of around 300 new cases per day to 1,000 last week, and most recently 3,500. On Wednesday, South Africa recorded 8,561 cases. A week earlier, the daily tally was 1,275. About a 7X increase in infections in a week. Obviously if this data now emerging is correct then its very concerning
  5. This doesn't look good Heavily mutated Omicron is rapidly becoming the dominant variant of the Covid-19 in South Africa less than four weeks after it was first detected there.
  6. Just realised Burnley have 2 games in hand

  9. Definitely think they know more than they're letting on Nicola Sturgeon calls for ALL UK arrivals to quarantine for EIGHT DAYS after Scotland finds six cases of Omicron with 'no travel history': Scottish leader announces return to WFH and demands Boris rolls out even TOUGHER restrictions Nicola Sturgeon and Mark Drakeford also called for an emergency COBRA meeting over the new variant
  10. Dozens of potential Omicron cases being looked at. Seems like the genie might be out of the bottle. Also some of the Scottish cases have no travel history
  11. It won't be Boris though as no doubt he'll be flouting his own mask rules
  12. I think Boris & his "rugger chums" know more about this mutation than theyre letting on. I think they're doing the bare minimum regarding masks. I'm not sure why they're waiting until Tuesday to make them mandatory.
  13. THIRD British case of Omicron 'super-mutant' is detected in London as contact tracers urgently hunt for church-goers and KFC visitors linked to outbreaks in Essex and Nottingham. Essex County Council said the targeted testing affects anyone who visited the KFC in Brentwood High Street on November 19, between 1pm and 5pm. The authority said it also affects people who attended Trinity Church in Pilgrims Hatch on November 21 Given this has come to light some 7 to 9 days later the chances are this mutation has already unknowingly been spread far & wide around the country. Boris has a 3 week gamble before we'll be going into an Xmas stealthy lockdown by then the schools will be closed for the Xmas break.
  14. The health secretary has said it is going to be a "great Christmas" as he defended not imposing stricter restrictions to combat the new COVID variant Lets see were we are in 3 weeks time when it gets reviewed before making such a bold statement.
