    The romantic suggestion was just a lighthearted one. As for the last line, I was less suggesting a merger, and more acknowledging Ashley's history of doing whatever he likes with what he owns, no matter how unpopular that may be - 'SportsDirect Arena' in particular. Thankfully for us, we have not yet taken on a SportsDirect related name for Ibrox, but depending on what happens next month, it might be back on the cards. You'd struggle to find an occasion where the Rangers loyal mis-behaved at a home fixture, so there's no issue there. If any are making the journey up, enjoy!

    Morning, gents. I am an unofficial Rangers writer for www.RangersMedia.co.uk, and I wrote this article for our site in anticipation of this evenings game, which I'm looking forward to. I read the comments of many of you above, and can understand why you see no benefit to playing the Rangers at this time, but I'd like to point out that the two clubs have a very long and special relationship.
