i guess what i'm getting at is, do you think a draw would be a good result? given your form and ours. i don't say this lightly, you've turned us over enough times over the years for me to be too confident, but i've watched a few of your games recently and i can't remember the last time a man city team looked so open and vulnerable to high press and counter attacks with pace. and so powder puff in midfield too. i fancy us to get a result more than ever because your new vulnerabilities seem to be areas where we're strong. famous last words, i know.

good strategy. i've lived in london for 25 years now and can count the number of times i venture into the west end in a typical year on one hand. there is so much more to london than the touristy areas.

he’s going nowhere. He seems genuinely humbled by our reaction to his ban and determined to pay us back. And he’s starting to look like the £50m player we thought we were signing. Chuffed for him. We noticeably improved after he came on yesterday. He’s become a really important player and gives our midfield the balance it lacked previously. Bournemouth aside, teams are no longer finding those gaps between our midfield and defence that were sometimes exploited last season and at times earlier this season.
