  1. About Luque's playing ability or Roeder's managerial ability? well his form for depor would suggest he has some ability, so it's either luque's attitude or roeder's man management depending on which way you look at it. either way, i can't see him playing for us again.
  2. i can see carr starting at right back, solano moving to right wing and dyer going up top. fuck knows about the left side mind. probably the dynamic and experienced edgar/pattison combo
  3. luque's played his last game for us tbh - even if he doesn't leave until the summer. roeder would rather play an untried youngster. says it all really
  4. get behind the team or hindu times will send the boys round to 'have a word'
  5. anal oliver just loves rubbishing other paper's rumours
  6. he said that about yossi benayoun when we were linked with him.
  7. and the fact that it was an official club statment. genius.
  8. you obviously wouldn't be one of those who stuck around when we were competing for the old 2nd division title when we had shit directors. not like you to try mike wild assumptions leazesmag. nice try though
  9. i'd get rid of roeder if we could attract a better standard of manager. sadly i don't see any top quality managers knocking down our doors to work under our current chairman.
  10. Regardless of form. Interesting. He's been utter wank for two games now. i didn't think sibierksi had a bad game against spurs. i have never seen luque have a good game for us. he's certainly never shown any good form, unlike le sib. luque looked a good player for depor; he's never looked a good player for us and has done nothing to show that he deserves to start
  11. would have rather lauren than lucas neil like
  12. le sib has done ten times more for us than luque and HAS to start ahead of him. ironic when you consider their respective price tags.
  13. haddaway and shite man; he's been utter gash the entire time he's been with us. he's score, what, two goals? i'm struggling to remember more than that. and i can't recall him having one half decent game. biggest flop since hugo viana
  14. you jest, shirley? who would he start ahead of?
  15. you think? i think it's more a case of time dragging when you've got a shit full back. the last three years supporting newcastle have felt like an eternity. comes with the lowered expectations and no longer looking forward to the match on saturday because you know we're going to be pants.
  16. it's a tough call. pattison will run around, doing nothing. luque will stroll around doing nothing. pattison edges it by a ginger freckle
  17. he loves banging out the one about loving his wife too. must have heard it at least two or three times
  18. i felt compelled to add this, especially in light of last night's performance: "Even when Manchester United were bringing the likes of the Neville brothers, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham and Paul Scholes through, they did not have the numbers that we have here at the moment. It goes without saying that our planning and long-term strategy, which was started with Glenn Roeder at the Academy and has been taken on by Joe Joyce, is finally paying off."
  19. If it's a write-off, then surely it's better to replace Glenn this season, let the new manager come in sharpish, see who the crap is, see who he likes, then he has a full summer to do what he wants. I'd say we use "planning" and use the remaining time of the season to find and tap up a replacement ready to take over in May. I know this won't happen though, he'll probably be sacked after a disastrous start to next season in September. I'd put money on that like. i'll give you odds of 1-5 on an august/september departure
