luque obvioulsy doesn't want to play for us anymore. i'm hoping he puts in a good perfomance with the hope of putting himself in the january shop window. the best for all parties would be if we could get him off the wage bill and a few million for him on the back of a few decent games between now and christmas. we HAVE to play him. it's luque or an untried kid. there's got to be some reason why we paid £10m for him. he can't be a total knacker, shirley?

i agree. the clubs that go down are usually those that don't haver a striker that can manager 12-15 goals. i can't see any of our players scoring double figures and we're still ropey at the back. it could be a long season.

the crowd at home is fairly gash these days and i'm pretty sure those that go to the match week in week out would agree. but why expect any different with the dross served up? i'm actually surprised that it has taken so long for us to stop selling out every week. you wouldn't get 50,000 crowds at too many other clubs playing as poor a brand of football as we have the past few seasons.

He's been out of form this season though. He's been more use than Emre. i reckon there's a shout for playing le zog inside. he did well there under souness and it is his prefered position. Gotta be better than Emre, plus he wont need to cross as much as he did on the wing which has been his weak point this season... plus he's comfortable running at defenders and beating them with pace and tricks. we haven't really got another central midfielder like that. neither emre or parker get forward enough in my view.
