The ref didn't look like he was going to book him until he saw Eduardo was badly injured. it was a blatant red, intentional or not.
-
that banks save was quality. 'that' bobby moore tackle is massively overrated though
-
typical nufc signing isn't he? arrives with a big price tag and a good reputation but turns out to be a total flop and is no doubt to be sold on at a loss.
-
when shepherd sacked robson. we were a top 5 side for three years on the bounce at that point. look at what we've done since
-
one thing for sure, we're definitely not too good to go down based on the performances so far this season. just depends on whether there are three teams as shit or shitter than us....at this stage it's looking like a close call. plus the team that sinks like a stone at this stage of the season (like we are) usually struggles. i can't imagine many things worse than being relegated.

shepherd got enough tbf. i'm surprised we got as much as £6.7m for owen. decent that
-
that's what i'm clininging to, but at the moment i'm not confident. are you?
-
i'm worried but i think (and hope) that there are at least 3 teams that are shitter than us. we don't deserve to stay up like, but it's absolutely vital.

good. less chance of him coming home injured
-
i had a stinker of a headache earlier. most unwelcome

who else should have got it though? ferdinand? owen? rooney? i don't think any of the other senior players have a better claim to it than gerrard tbh.

Toon Boss Will Fight To Keep Zog On The Tyne
Dr Gloom replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Anelka? As a desperate January stop gap for a club as wealthy as Chelski? Maybe. For most anyone else? Nope. 39 in 89 at a struggling Man City 23 in 58 at Bolton Both average sides. And nearly the magic 1 in 2. One of the best strikers in the world? Easily. 51 in 125 at Man City. 23 in 61 at Bolton. Only just better than Shearer in his last season, and worse than Shearer in his 2nd from last season. He's a good player, without a doubt, but more around the £10M mark. his goal record is good enough if he stays for the duration of his contract. i think the bigger problem with anelka is he's likely to want to fuck off to another club after a season or two. -
villa deco bentley wright phillips vieria bridge campbell huntelaar would do me like. we'd challenge the top 4 with that lot on top of what we've already got.
-
you obviously haven't been out in manchester recently. i went to an artic monkeys gig at old trafford cricket ground last summer - it was like walking into a gallagher brothers convention. i must have seen about 6 fights kick off during the gig and umpteen swaggering morons in kangol hats.

a jazzy jeff mixtape at the moment.
-
just read stephen king's misery. i've never been so shit scared by a book. i actually couldn't get to sleep one night. the chapter when she saws his foot off
-
correct, although i'd keep emre as a reserve centre mid. he's not as bad as some make out.

Good post. IMO we should have gone the extra mile to sign both these players Don't suppose it will change some "opinions" that the clubs current transfer policy of bringing in 17 year old kids and hoping to gain success on the cheap is the way to go instead. Mind boggling. Still, Alex Ferguson has spent a lot of money, as have the other trophy winning clubs, but I'm sure those who agree that buying cheap shite is the way forward You reckon?
