we won't win anything under him but if ashley backs him with his billions i expect exciting, attacking football, top half finishes and something approaching the old atmosphere back at st james
-
i expect him to sign a top class playmaker in the centre midfield/second striker role. we haven't had a player like that since pedro tbh

the dream ticket

i've got another half an hour at work left before i can fuck off home and watch sky sports news all night.

i know we're a laughing stock. i work in london in an office full of southerners but i honestly don't give a shit. for once i am a blind optimist -
Fucked as in relegated? Because unless that's what you meant I couldn't have seen the central midfield problem being sorted regardless (even, perhaps especially, if Allardyce had stayed). I reckon we'll stay up because I think the home form will pick up starting on Saturday. I reckon 40 points will be more than enough this season. aye. i expect keegan to set the team out in a 4-4-2 with players playing in their correct positions and one defensive holding midfielder, not two. i can see him getting the most out of players like duff too. plus there's still time for a purchase or two before the window closes It's a joy to see you happy btw i didn't expect to be this excited. i guess the logical appointment (deschamps or someone of similar stature) wouldn't have got the pulse racing in quite the same way.

abso-fucking-loutely
-
aye. i expect ashley to put his hands in his pocket now and back keegan to the hilt. bring it on :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
-
this is fucking barmy man. everyone in the office is ripping me but i don't give a shit. i haven't felt like this about a new manager since sir bobby was appointed.
-
if the atmopshere goes back to what it was under keegan the first time around, it will be a worthwhile appointment
-
aye cheer up sima. even i'm buzzing at this. it's bound to end in disaster but he's going to bring the feel good factor back. imagine the atmopshere when he's unveiled (deschamps probably would have been the smart appointment but who gives a fuck? this club is a soap opera after all)
-
they say never go back but the hairs on the back of my neck are going mad. shearer to be his number 2?
-
reuters breaking news!!!!!!!!!!!!! i don't believe it
-
about as much truth in it as your baines tip

not hugely impressed with any of the options tbh. Whilst they may be the best we can hope for, I dont really 'want' any of them. who do you 'want'?
-
shame we were manager-less when he became available. could have been a good long term replacement for butt
-
of that lot i'd say: 1) deschamps 2) keegan/shearer or shearer and a.n other
