i would say maybe a top 10 finish. we won't be anywhere near the top 6 with that side. we need at least 3-4 first team additions to the squad imo

digger barnes was more than solid for his club to be fair slp, as has lampard been for chelsea. agree about both never really doing it for england. lampard had a good couple of yeears early on but has faded mainly because he doesn't gel alongside gerrard in a 4-4-2

i'm predicting yet more for mid table mediocrity. too good to go down, not good enough to challenge the top 6

anyone reckon he'd accept the job if offered? not a bad club to learn his trade tbf and we opted for keegan when he made it obvious he would have replaced allardyce so fair play to him if he fancies it.

i think he has the potential to be a very good player. shame he seems injury prone and less fit than he could be.

crouch for smith seems a no brainer. viduka, crouch, owen and martins would be a good batch of striker for next season. two decent options there for the big man/little man slot and would mean not having to rely on fattie viduka so much

good player imo. shame he never did it consistently for us and was always injured. good move to get rid, especially for the price mentioned, but we'll need to replace him with a better player. i would have also gotten rid of a few others ahead of him first, smith etc. we're going to have to make a few signings in midfield. i don't want to be relying on smith, barton, geremi and aging nicky butt as our central midfielders for next season

Yeah...........................consistently average! Average Premier League finish of around the top 6... So in a league of twenty I would say that's above average... 'around the top 6' doesn`t mean in the top 6....................so I would call that average. Their overall Premier league spot is 5th. In a league of 20 teams. That's above average. Can you back that up with any credible source or are you just talking through you`re arse again trying to look good? No!..............thought as much. You thought wrong. Looks very above average to me. If that is correct then I concede that you are correct on this occasion......................however we clearly have different understandings of what average means!
