  1. those nespresso machines aren't that bad actually. i was impressed with the one my mate just got.
  2. Aye Spurs is my next away game not been for 17 years, I'm sure the area hasn't improved was like a cross between Lagos and Istanbul last time I was there, not got a ticket like but I'm sure I'll get one nearer the time off someone. horrible part of london that for a football ground, you're not wrong. i think possibly only the new den in bermondsey is worse.
  3. i'm off to the man city game on boxing day. hoping it's better than the shite i saw last xmas - a 0-0 draw to derby county in the freezing bastard cold.
  4. Got up early to watch the end of the afternoon session and sodding bad light stopped proceedings! It's pretty finely poised now. If we can get Haddin and hussey out early doors with the new ball it's game on
  5. Fickle nature of life. You're drawn to good looking people it's a major advantage, than someone turning up who's minging using the same techniques. Human nature. Agreed 100% and I made a similar point earlier in the thread. I spose what I mean is that's pretty much all there is to her though and it's a bit of a shame. If there was any actual business acumen allied to her good looks she'd be formidable. I actually think your Laura has sharper business insincts for instance (though as I said before she's still overly juvenile). Not to say Liz is completely vacuous like, I credit her with common sense at least and all too often that's in alarmingly short supply on the Apprentice. she's confident and articulate too though (edit - without being arrogant and obnoxious like lots of the others). she's been way better than most of the others - that's not all down to the fact that she'd get it. She's confident like (again an asset) but I don't think I'd highlight her articulacy per se particularly. Stella is way better for instance. Thinking with your middle wicket iyam, not that I blame you at all. didn't she break a record in an earlier sales round? she always sounds the most assured when they pitch. but yeah, i could well be blinded by the poontang. but that in itself is an asset. i'm sure lord sugar knows you can't have enough confident, smart and fit women in the business. i was surprised he didn't hire the brummie for that reason alone last season.

  7. Dont agree. The way Joanna upsold the order at the hotel from 3 months supply to six was excellent. Dog with a bone. It should be one of them though. that joana is way too agressive and pushy. might work on a contrived reality tv show but there's no way she'd do better than liz in a real life sales pitch Pushy sales people will win in real life the majority of the time. they really don't. people are more likely to buy of someone that charms them, not someone that tries to force something down your throat.
  8. I don't deal with sales people because generally they're all wanks, saying that I suppose I'm in sales....AYE point proven. I like Laura's attitude, if she doesn't like something she's noshrinking violet. Agree re the Oxbridge types, the bloke Chris doesn't even need to open his mouth for me to hate him, and I do even mroe when he does. i like him. he's a posh twat but he seems a nice posh twat. that stuart is just a twat

  10. The best three (all boys) were in the boardroom last night, but you can't see any boy winning it? That makes sense. i meant the best three of the boys, all of them clearly better than that muppet stuart. though he was quite funny at least trying to speak german
  11. nowt fit about stella. liz on the other hand is well worth it. i think liz has got to be favourite still. she's blatantly the best at presenting sales pitches and has that natural confidence most fit birds have. i can't see any of the boys winning it. the three best were all in the boardroom last night and he could have walked any of them tbf.
  12. yes but macbooks last and keep their speed unlike dells, which usually die within a year or two
  13. he's a million miles ahead of guthrie, hence why he's with man u and why guthrie is with us. to answer you question, i'd say he's a modern midfielder. he's skillful, pacey, a good passer and combative too. the only criticism is maybe he doesn't score enough goals but he's still young
  14. none down here as of yet and i hope it stays that way. london is in the darg ages when it comes to a bad weather - it comes to a total standstill when it snows. it's bizarre really, one of the biggest financial centres in the world and a bit of snow grinds the whole public transport system to a halt. a guy i work with from canada couldn't believe it last year. he was like "why aren't there any trains or tubes working? it's only a light snow shower"
  15. fucking hell. this isn't looking good.swan's first two balls go to the boundry
  16. what shit way to give your wicket away. nothing delivery, short and wide and he plops it straight to gully. fucking hell strauss.
  17. I think you'll find that losing the toss may be a blessing in disguise for this test match. The Gabba wicket is very green. Losing the toss and having to bowl first may be the way to go... at least we haven't got harmy in to send the first ball of the series down to second slip this time
  18. They're probably sub-zero. He looks and feels a bit like a Spurs player. yeah but how many midfielders do they need? maybe we can have some of their rejects
  19. would be good to see us opening and strauss and the chef occupying the crease for at least a couple of sessions. set the tone for the series on the front foot
  20. of course it isn't crap. it's probably in the top two or three in europe when you look at the quality of the top teams. probably not among europe's best when it comes to competitiveness mind.
  21. not long to go now. i might pull an all nighter on thursday and a sicky on friday
  22. he looked shit hot for them a season or two back.
  23. I always thought he came across well in interviews and if the rumours are to be believed it was him and hughton that did a lot to galvanise the dressing room last year so I've nowt against him personally. He's a trier; he's just not very good
