The bus system in Bristol is actually very very good. Though, the drivers can be complete arse holes. They don't accept twenty pound notes any more so expect us to have change, so if we're in a rush.. not being allowed on cos we don't have change would be a bit of an arse.. Then again it's lucky I have a bus pass! There is also a cross dresser bus driver, makes me feel a bit uneasy to be honest.

Stuff like Ruby Port and Sloe Gin is meant to be the worst and I think that is down to the toxins they contain. The dehydrating effect of all alcohol can give you a stotten heid though. Vodka gives me a dodgy stomach the next day if I drink too much. 171980 I'm more worried about what I'm like on it, haven't touched the stuff in a long time. SG - I find red wine to be almost completely hangover free, unless I really take the piss, or get a dodgy bottle. 171986 Really? I've never tried it so wouldn't know.. I've never (touch wood) had a headache in the morning, just either felt a bit grotty, depressed or have a dodgy stomach.. Probs the signs of drinking beer.. I rarely mix drinks too so that probs helps. I'm sure if you went to bed without a sip of water the chances are you'll definitely wake up feeling rough.. Luckily most of the time I get a good few pints in before sleeping. Edit- another point, which my mates always laugh at.. I find that my stomach is always worse the day after a party, usually because I'll drink canned lager and mix brands of beer.. for some reason it doesn't agree with my stomach.. If I stick to one brand it usually is fine

http://www.rocknroll.force9.co.uk/pubs/hangovers.htm There it is, really interesting site; Worst Hangover 1. Brandy 2. Red Wine 3. Rum 4. Whisky 5. Beer 6. White Wine 7. Gin 8. Vodka Lightest Hangover Also, anybody ever tried resolve before? I got pissed one night and didn't expect to have such a dodgy stomach the next day.. woke up in all sorts of trouble... Anyways I took a resolve and it did settle my stomach and I ended up being able to go out for my friends birthday.. Nearly bottled it cos of the beer the night before!

Dark beers are a bastard as well. 171973 Yep I'm pretty sure it's true.. As apparantly red wine causes a bastard hangover, as do dark beers, whereas lager is middle of the range.. I found an interesting website a while ago on how to stop getting hangovers.. It was really interesting, will see if I can dig it up.

The lighter the colour of the drink, the lighter the hangover, apparantly. Which to be fair is partly true as vodka doesn't really give me hangovers.

I think you will find that this board is full of procrastinaters! I know I am, seeing as I'm avoiding revision by browsing this forum

Speaking of mixed alcoholic beverages.. If you add shots of apple sours to Magners (the cider) it is by far the nicest drink ever.. including soft drinks, it's quite refreshing, which is the danger! Also, turbo shandys (Lager and Smirnoff ices) now they are lethal

They do fosters and strongbow (I think) in walkabouts. Can't say I've ever tried woodpeckers. Snakebite and black (diesel) is the nuts
-
If I drunk 5 pints of normal lager, or 5 pints of snakey B, I'd probably feel the effects a bit more off the snake bites.. but I honestly think it's psychological, it isn't potent at all I don't think.

Yeah, like my grandfather and my father, who have both had this "typical English upbringing" it seems weird to be able to talk to people about my feelings. I know people (especially girls) who could talk to their parents about anything.. I however couldn't.. could be a guy thing, who knows.

Before uni I was quite shy around strangers.. Now I've been told I come across as confident (arrogant) But other than that.. I am TERRIBLE at showing my feelings generally around people I like of the opposite sex.. Im pretty reserved which comes across as me not caring apparantly

Bit shit really, as it's got more popular (myspace) its got more unreliable.. Was even in the newspaper the other day! Was down for ALL of my birthday, was gutted! didn't get half as many messages as I should have got! Working now though I think 168488 My god, you are into it arent you? 168491 haha nah, but to be fair there are some people (like my uni mates) who I don't get to talk to very often.. so myspace is ideal for it. 168494 Yes, i suppose its good for that, though why not MSN or email? (or god forbid a......letter)!!!! 168499 Well most of them can't go on msn while at work.. and as boyo said, e-mail is so last year

How was Magaluf? 156894 Top draw.. Had tonsilitis though for the first 4 days so the holiday should have been spoilt by that.. but I didnt let it. Ironic really how usually people come back from magaluf with tonsilitis, I took it there with me.. Meh!

Not really a breakup, and is nothing in comparison to all your stories.. Just found out the girl I liked and had a thing with (but havent seen her for a month) went on a date a few days ago! I know I went to magaluf and stuff.. but its just my male pride that is hurt
