  1. Hands down the worst comment in this thread. I'll give you the thumbs up with that comment
  2. My dad's charger works, just doesn't fit in as well as the last one does. A small twist of it and it just pops out. So I presume it was my old charger that was rubbish, with potentially the inside of my computer being a bit crap. No idea really!
  3. Well it's only a couple of years old and was 600 quid two years ago, so still has the pace etc.. I'm happy enough with it, definitely not on the way out. Just had a look on the charger and it seems there is a bit of a slit in the part I have to play with to get it working (sounds dirty eh!) But I'd definitely not be looking for a new laptop, will take it to a PC shop monday I spose.
  4. Bollocks. Was afraid of that!
  5. My mate who had the same problem said it could be something to do with the pin INSIDE the laptop. Sounds expensive if it is that!
  6. For some reason over the past week my laptop charger has been really inconsistent. Sometimes I have to really fiddle with the end after I've plugged it in to charge my laptop up. Bit of hassle if I want it on the move, as you'd expect with a laptop! It only charges if in one position but towards the end of the week its been harder to find this position. Anyways I've got an Acer Aspire 3502WLMi and wondering how much a new charger would be? Or can you use other Acer chargers cos my dads old laptop was an Acer and he still has the charger for it.
  7. That'll teach him to play away eh!
  8. Know there are a couple of scream pubs about, they should be showing the game. But it may conflict with the Stoke Charlton game on sky sports. Wouldn't have thought it would have been a problem though. Problem with reading is that I get the impression there are feck all pubs around the ground!
  9. I've got plenty of time for the toon ultras. Fully respect what they're trying to do. I browse their forums quite regularly to see what the craic is but rarely post after getting my head bitten off by Kane for apparantly "ruining the atmosphere at games!" because of where I live.
  10. By the way if anybody wants a free 50 quid coral bet - http://coral.co.uk/sun50/ The more money you're willing to put in the more you get out, if the odds are high then you could win a lot off that 50 quid bet so may wait and use betfreds £25 free bet to test the waters with a really low odds bet so don't have to put much in
  11. Good point, problem is I'm already registered with coral. Don't think you can do two accounts otherwise you could rinse everybody over and over. Then again they closed my account cos of my "age verification" due to paying with a debit card. Even though I'm 20 they were asking me to ring up a number about verifying my age, couldn't be arsed as it seemd a bit dodgy! May re-register anyway..
  12. Yeah think I am, but going to wait till the weekend cos I'm owed quite a bit of money from my mate. Thing is with the betting exchange (betfair) you have to put about 150 quid in there incase you win on betfred instead. Gonna try and lay the underdog so that the chances are that I'll have my money in betfair instead of having to keep withdrawing it from bookies like betfred and putting it into betfair. Seems confusing but after about a day I've got to grips with it. Also my mate said he's had a chat with his work mate who's earnt bout 300 quid in 2 weeks, for sitting at your computer it ain't bad eh!
  13. Unfortunately that's not right, you can make that 18 quid but it won't be until another game. Because to activate that 50 quid you have to to spend 50 quid first. Try clicking "Qualifier" and it'll say you've made a very small loss, but then thats when you use that 50 quid free bet to put on another matched bet, meaning that you can make bout a guaranteed 40 quid on the next game. I've been reading about it all morning, I finally understand it!
  14. Yep! I found that out the hard way Lucky it wasn't 4 grand down the line but it just proves that nothing is a 'dead cert'
  15. On betfred.com its 10 quid. Spent bout an hour reading through that site using the calculator etc and its confused the hell out of me! Wish there was an easier explanation somewhere!
  16. I've not got a lot of money either, may wait till my loan comes in can you not do it small time then or do you have to be willing to spend a lot to get a lot back?
  17. Yeah I could do, but the odds are that there will be a goal (or not knowing my luck over the past couple of games!) You ever heard of www.fundmydegree.com ? Seems a legit scheme to earn quite a lot of money by taking advantage of free bets sites give you. Seems confusing but the matched betting makes a bit more sense than the casino betting thing.
  18. Typical of my luck. Started off doing this system and bet on spurs sunderland saturday. Thought Chopra had saved my behind in the 90th minute only for Man Utd Reading to let me down yesterday! Still gonna give it another shot ! Try and get my 25 quid back at least
  19. I love this scene so much: Such a good lineup of actors all acted perfectly. Off topic but has anybody seen Kevin Spacey's impressions of Pacino etc on inside the actors studio? Hes seriously class
  20. Recently watched these four films: Glengarry Glen Rose (in which Pacino is seriously world class), Face Off (which I'd never seen before and enjoyed it) True Romance (bit of an odd one but enjoyable. Weird to see Brad Pitt have such a little role, but was good to see the actor that plays Tony Soprano in it!) and Things to do in Denver when you're dead. (Enjoyed this one despite being very freaked out by Christopher Walken!)
  21. Definitely use a weapon if I found one lying around. Didn't something similar happen to Duncan Ferguson?
  22. Any news on this scheme? I've had a look at betfair and it only seems certain games have the option for "total goals" quite annoying really as I was keen on doing this idea!
