My fault for not making myself clear but take this lass (just guessing, I don't know her), or a mate of mine. They probably needed a rocket up their arse years ago instead of being spoilt as a kid, put it that way. That doesn't take away from the fact he had a very real period of serious clinical depression but I do think his childhood was probably a factor given he was absolutely ruined. He's a mental health nurse now as it happens.

Self-medication is the way forward.

I find the proper butch ones really funny for some reason. That short hair, DMs, piercings, drainpipe jeans, lumberjack-shirt look. Especially when they're both dressed like that.

Not taking the piss (for a change) but I have a lot of admiration for people who do work like you do.

Made a few home-made infusions myself lately. Recent ones include Vanilla vodka (using pods rather than extract) Strawberry vodka (using real fruit) a home-made coffee liqueur (with a brandy base) and a blackberry liqueur (vodka-based and made with some blackberries I picked myself). I've also made some home-made chutneys of late. I Gemmill would say it's probably about time to hand my balls in.

Made a rather nice Dry Martini last night using Edinburgh Gin* and Noilly Prat *Highly recommended.

That tout from Thomas Cook looked like he'd be good mates with Mr Wynn.

Fwiw wyki seems like a good lad to me but I wouldn't sign up as a Samaritan if I was him.

There's a pair of lesbians moved into my street. Not only that but one of them is canny smart. I thought they only existed in films going off the ones in the pink triangle in the Toon.

It's not easy being this wise. In fact, it's a burden more than anything else.

I think it's one of those things where you can obviously have a view on it, because I've got experience of knowing people who've suffered from it and so on, and in some case they didn't help themselves at times, but you never really know what's going on in someone else's head / with their lives etc. I'm sure some people do take the piss a bit and probably need a rocket up their arse but I think you should always try and be sympathetic about it on whole. I also think it's a much better state of affairs now that it's much more acceptable to talk about stuff like this and seek help.

The Roy Keane thing has taken on mystical status but Haaland actually played again and it was the (long-term, pre-existing) injury to his other leg (iirc) that finished his career. I think that's why there was no chance of him persuing Keane in terms of comp or whatever. He could've perhaps tried to go for a criminal prosecution after Keane admitted in his book it was deliberate etc. but given what I've said it basically just amounted to a (very) nasty foul so it would've been pretty pointless on that score too I think.

His clothes are all tattered and torn...

Don't know Sheffield although I've liked a few lads I've met from there and Warp was a fucking mint record label. Leeds is a good night out though and has nice shops etc. (been a while since I was there mind). Their fans however...

He obviously fucking hates Suarez because he wasn't his normal, controlled self the whole game but he went about it all the wrong way. He should've been making sly digs and playing on Suarez's rep for diving. Easier said then done like as Suarez was having one of his better games.

No, obviously not. He couldn't give a shit about that. I agree with everything you say, I'm just putting it from his pov. He's not a fan of the club and he's about as classy as Uncal Mick, all of which makes for a cheapskate approach. I don't mind the idea of us being financially viable, especially in the current climate, but he's goes above and beyond that with this sort of thing and, like you say, it probably has a detrimental effect on performance from time to time, quite apart from ruining a lot of people's fun. Tbh, I'm quite fortunate in that I don't let it bother me so much any more. I've jacked my ST in as I've got other priorities and I take a much more 'Zen' approach to the whole thing now. I do feel for the travelling support who find it increasingly difficult to get to games though.

Top Gun is still mint.

Think he meant that's what he'll need in his 2nd term. Given he couldn't be too controversial before re-election.

Funny how Marveaux's dropped off the radar like given how he's meant to be fit and all the other injuries etc.

Always thought that was class but wondered why they never seem to show it on TV these days. I guess that's just answered that question.

I remember that documentary with David Elleray where they did it. Arsenal (the cynical George Graham version) were one of the sides. The air was a bit blue. Elleray only booked Tony Adams for calling him a cheat. Virtually owt else seemed fair game. Also, Graham Poll post-retirement (I know a lot of people might not like him and I don't) was making the point that the referees wanted to clamp down on foul and abusive language but were directed otherwise by the Premier League. So, in other words, the Respect campaign was/is a cosmetic exercise but in reality the officials haven't got the backing needed to take action when Rooney or whoever says 'Fuck off' to their face. If it's because of what Clattenburg said then, what next? Mic'ing up all the players too?

That's her. Lush pair of legs.

Ola is smart as a dart. I used to like that Polish lass from previous series. Looked like an East European porn star (they tend to be the nicest ones imo).
