On the whole I'm pretty happy like. Not that life is perfect or owt but I know I'm lucky in loads of ways and I'm equally lucky in that, for the most part, I appreciate that.

Ant, I now hate Owen as much as I hate Martins so at least we've come a bit closer together on this issue.

That post sums you up tbh.

I heard that. In fact someone told me he was the manager. It could be he's working there and just told them he's the manager like. I haven't been in the Travs for years. Is it still fucking shite?

I've done my own homemade ones before and I honestly wouldn't bother after trying these. Homemade ones are nice but they're a faff and then it's hard to stretch the dough enough to get them thin enough. With these kits you get enough for two pizzas (oblong ones, the size of a baking tray) and the sauce comes with it. I'm not normally one for shop bought pasta sauce type things either but this is spot on, so you don't even need to make that. You then just out your own topping on. Sorry if I'm teaching Grandma how to suck eggs here but just make sure you don't put too much topping on and slice your topping really thin. They cost about £2.50 and they're nicer than any 'fresh' ones I've bought in a supermarket before.

Those Just Roll pizza kits are spot on btw. You need baking parchment / greaseproof paper though. Lovely thin crust.

Might've known Tex would ride into town to defend his beloved septics.

The 45, that brings back memories.

Arsenal showing a distinct lack of AMBITION imo.

I blame hip-hop. And Things to do in Denver when you're Dead.
-
He's not really blaming the gun though. Surely his point is that the gun laws over there make access to guns easier, which makes things like this more likely to happen. That doesn't excuse the bloke that did it but it wasn't intended to.

Eileen Drury.

Aye, he could play centre-half too (started off there I think). You said most games though I think basically once he played upfront a few times, he was kept there because of his goalscoring record and only played at centre-half after that in emergencies / when injuries dictated. He goalscoring record is class. Probably Wales' best ever player (certainly him or Giggs anyway) and one of the best the British Isles ever produced. Wales might've won the World Cup in '58 if he'd stayed fit. And while what you say is right about the era he played in he was noted for being a very fair player (like Billy Wright).

That's what I meant by espadrilles but it's Toms isn't it? I think that's the brand name. Even the charvs I pass going to Gateshead College wear them. I know I'm getting on a bit like but fuck me. They're ridiculous

Cruyff would be canny like.

That High Court case sounds like good use of public money.

Listen to Edgy Reggie there.

Thing is, Hughes would've been a better player if he had a nasty streak.

Billy Wright as well. Different era like but the bloke played 100 times for England when there were no subs and less meaningless friendlies (or games in general for that matter). And he married one of the Beverley Sisters. John Charles was used more as a forward than a centre-half though, I think. Although given the dirty tricks he would've endured in Italy back then that doesn't make it any less impressive.

Elasticated jeans with espadrilles (sp?). I honestly find it hard not to laugh out loud when I see someone dressed like that on the Metro or whatever. I actually saw someone going to work like that the winter before last in about 6 inches of snow. Not just cool, sub-zero. I've never seen the programme like.
