  1. Shearer at his peak v Henry at his peak is one thing but Henry was a world class player for a much longer period. Shearer was a very good player after his bad injury at Everton when he had to adapt his game but not 'top drawer' after that.
  2. Alex

    Radcliffe

She was a world class marathon runner though, so the times aren't that big a mystery.
  3. It's a toss-up between that and 'keeper as his best position iyam.
  4. What a delightful lady: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tees-30505809
  5. That banker comes across as weapons grade cunt iyam.
  6. Any truth to the rumour the cleric is from Shiraz?
  7. Can someone reply to Andrew please?
  8. ATP responded to your post. He knew it wasn't aimed at him. Meanwhile, Stevie mistakenly thought that earlier response (to you) was aimed at him and made a response to ATP. When ATP pointed out Stevie's mistake and took issue with what he said (and then deleting it) you reckoned that made ATP a hypocrite, hence my earlier conclusion, i.e. you don't understand the concept of hypocrisy and applied it incorrectly. Clear enough?
  9. It's quite unusual to see someone misunderstand a concept that basic so well played.
  10. Good research there calling Grimsby v Lincoln a 'maritime maul'. Lincoln's about 30 mile from the sea.
  11. Aye, in retrospect you merely started talking complete shite about him, so I take that back
  12. Lee always had licence to get forward more because he had players like Bracewell, Venison or Lee Clark playing a deeper role before Batty arrived. He certainly didn't become more attack minded once Batty arrived.
  13. Is it not just being talked about in pretentious terms by nerds who didn't even play football in the school yard (and if they did they were last to be picked)?
