  1. There was a Wakefield like scandal over DTP in the mid 70s, it was bullshit just like the latter day one. DTP also covered diphtheria and tetanus. You don't want to get either of those diseases either. Chances are you will have at least had a tetanus one since at least.
  2. Fair enough. Looking forward to this advantage next season, I'd love to win this again (along with the FA cup, being realistic in our ambitions).
  3. What's the rationale for that? Sorry, I mean what's the pretend rationale for that? Luckily we will benefit next year I suppose.
  4. You'll have to wait until this becomes a regular thing for us, 3 trips to Wembley every year what with the FA cup semi-finals being there.
  5. Just finished Adolescence. Is there anything Stephen Graham's done which hasn't made me cry? Truly the story of our times, tragic. Think every parent of teenagers needs to see this but fuck me its uncomfortable viewing.
  6. The Newsagents USA is well worth a listen this week, about how Trump is basically removing the barriers between the executive and the judicial. It's not just Sopel and Maitlis saying this, they've got an expert explaining it too, its happening, in real time. This stuff tends to go under the radar as Trump distracts with his foreign policy batshittery.
  7. Can't beat shagging a shag marra.
  8. Aye, it's great and really insightful. Just watched E3. Feel sorry for kids today manipulated by cunts like Tate.
  9. Well done! How much do you dislike your manager? If a lot, then yes, if not much, delay send for Monday imo.
  10. "Question, how can we make this country even worse?" "I've got it, let's import tens of thousands of white South Africans!" How the fuck can they implement this without being overtly and explicitly racist?
  11. Fucking hell. I worked there illegally as a kid when I was at University for a few months. Loads of us did, from the UK and Ireland. Just rocked up to the Boardwalk in Wildwood NJ and got a job for 3 months at minimum wage (which was relatively quite a lot in 1992). My job was selling Land Hermit Crabs as pets to gullible yanks and Canadians (there were loads of Canadians). There was a whole community of us, getting lashed every night. Great times. At the end of the summer, spent a couple of weeks in the Caribbean on the proceeds and back to Uni with a bit of cash left over. Can't imagine that happens now like. I wouldn't go to the US if you paid me (okay, I would if you paid me enough). They've ruined their country.
  12. Am I the only one who can't see your images?

So did I! Feeding in that prompt. Fucking shite, I like the hybrid high level-Tyne bridge though.

At least mine got the right city region and kept Dan's feet dry.

Nacht, tried, couldn't get an image to pass my quality control. It couldn't get either Blyth or Burn remotely correct, sorry.
  17. That gives me a marketing idea......
  18. It's another straw the mackems have been clutching at, trying to mock us. Nobody seriously wants a statue ffs. I mean, who the fuck would erect a statue for a manager after a single cup win?
  19. I think because of the almost literal lifetime of waiting for this event it was inevitably very emotional. I would probably have been watching this with my Dad and maybe sister present if they were still here. If I'm honest the empty settee seats at mine were another reason I couldn't face the match on TV, especially as it is very close to their anniversaries (my sister had the good grace to ruin St Patrick's day forever!). That said, the success makes me feel I can genuinely move on from this in the future at least where football's concerned. Here's to all those who couldn't be here.
  20. I'm a visual person. Couldn't resist.
  21. That'll explain the puzzled zoologists the next day. "Dr Smith, come and see this, we appear to have a new species of Brown Trout living in the fountains of Trafalgar Square. This is amazing, how did it get here?"
  22. I'm a fairly regular match goer and not once seen a fan in a tea towel etc. It must have happened very occasionally because there are photos, but its definitely not a remotely common thing (must be <0.01%). Also I'd say there's not been a greater feeling of local pride since the Keegan days. If this is what Sports washing is, I'm not losing any sleep over it.
