1. Surely Portsmouth would have made sure he'd had all necessary jabs/ tablets etc before going on International duty 40481 You're still not 100% protected, but even if you are really unlucky and get it, it should be much less severe. Which leads me to think Lx3 didn't take anything. Stupid lad.
2. Aaawww Dad 40479 He's right though and SLP should heed this advice too. I'd be pretty pissed off if my neighbour blew up my house because they were too tight to get a Corgi registered fitter in.
3. Pink Floyd are unlistenable unless you've had a few spliffs tbf. I worry about that young Skol's drug habits sometimes.

Good question. Normally in a situation like that where you're round a table and there's a few of you I would just put in a quarter (if there was 4 of you) regardless of if I'd had less. If one person wasn't drinking though and blatantly had less then I'd put more in to cover for that but I wouldn't necessarily expect others to do the same. In other words, the onus was on them to cover for you rather than you to pay a quarter of the total, but seen as they wouldn't, if it was me, I just would have hoyed in a $20. 40383 Correct. Which brings me to another annoying student habit - quarrelling on how to split a bill, or even worse, using calculators! BASTARDS!

I don't mind going out to a pub or for a meal and not drinking, but I must admit the idea of going to Tiger Tiger sober scares the shit out of me. Not that they ever let me in because I've got the wrong shoes or trousers on.
6. Careful you will have the toontastic version of McCarthyism after you. "Are you or have you at any time been a supporter of Graham Souness?" 40283 In all seriousness, there has got to be something wrong with the fitness training though. 40287 He was injured before he turned up though wasnt he? 40302 But he hasn't recovered either? I don't know what's going on but something's not right and it can't be down to luck alone. Also, I thought we'd given up our "hard" training pitch while the Match was on?

Scum. Sub-human scum, tbh. 40271 I also witnessed this. It was actually the moment I turned against students tbh. 40277 Erm, its more a reflection on the type of person he is than the fact he is a student, surely?

In the olden days, there was only a fraction of the number there are now, and most did vaguely relevant subjects needed for the country. Since then, their numbers have increased exponentially, and many just go for the easy noddy degrees of no use to anyone, like Star Wars studies or whatever. They are going to end up graduating with 30K worth of debt and working in Morrisons. I actually feel sorry for some of them tbh.

Soap dodging, pizza eating bastards the lot of them. Spend the thick end of three quid in the corner shop and put it on their card whilst i stand for what seems like an eternity behind them, while my 8 cans of Stella oot the fridge freeze my fucking mitts off. Go to the cash machine you cunts. 40243 True!

They're the ones I mean. Mind, I was in Liverpool as an undergraduate, and looking back I can see what a twat I was in the first two years. I even stole a traffic cone once. I can only put it down to immaturity and a willingness to conform, but there were far, far worse than me. 40219 Did you wear the cone on your head whilst staggering down the centre of the road, you crazy bastard, you? 40226 Fuck, shouldn't have brought this up. I was with a mate, walking back from a pub and for some stupid studenty reason we decided to nick the full kit - two cones with flashing lights joined together with a plastic board. The first street we had to cross, we walked straight in front of a police car with two coppers sitting open mouthed at us. Got an unofficial warning.
14. Yeah, just heard this. It can be really nasty, at its worst fatal. Hope he makes a full recovery.

16. Smashing windows, knocking over bins, missing deliveries, hurting people with flying papers. You sick bastard bastard tbh.

Student power, what a shower. Yes many of them are complete tits, but if we are going to generalise, there are other groups I despise much more. However, the rich, agricultural students are the worst in Newcastle. And no I don't want your shitty wag week comic!
18. Obsessed tbh 40158 Fuck of you pair of bastids tbh.
19. ABout the last bit, I'm not sure I agree. If Shearer was still knocking them in, I think it may be a lot worse for Ameobi. In fact, arguably he is getting his chance now but still not taking it.
20. Well you wouldn't would you FFS... you are just as obsessed, you just have a different opinion! Almost true, I did it once (and it was on the TV). I'm pleased I did because it sank in finally just how bad he was... something like 75% of his passes / touches went to the opposition. Still, I wouldn't expect someone like you to believe that. You haven't yet explained why no manager in the UK or overseas would pay for him when NUFC were quite obviously prepared to let him go for next to nothing. You just can't accept that you are wrong about him can you? 40147 His wages are too high, and Souness lowered his value by slagging him off. It's not rocket science. I really, really don't want to get dragged in to another Robert argument, for the time being it is over. But to use his form this season so far as an argument against him is completely mad imo, I was just pointing that out. And no, of course I don't accept I was wrong about him, I know what Robert contributed because its written in balck and white (goal assists and goals scored). You, on the other hand are arguing from home made stats (I'm sure you said you did the counting at a home match btw, if it was away it changes things anyway), subjective opinions, and tired cliches. As robert will probably never play for us again, I (and many others) obviously will never agree with you, so why can't we just put this to bed and stop obsessing about him!
21. That's what I thought he meant as well - now that would be funny. Out of interest Sima, what would your post count be if it wasn't being reset?
22. I still can't understand why nobody would buy Robert. Why couldn't we get even £1M for him! Just because a few misguided fans had lost patience with him shouldn't stop a professional football manager seeing what he is capable of. 40120 Obsessed tbh. I don't think I've ever seen you on a thread that wasn't about Robert. And we all know how you used to go to games and count his passes.
23. You raving hypocrite! (mind you it makes a nice change for you to be taking a break from your vendetta against Gemmill...) 40092 Hypocrite? I don't think so - I didn't bring this up and start talking in tired cliches. Neither have I got a vendetta against Gemmill. If you look up a few posts, you'll find he has admitted he started this thread as a fishing trip! Sorry I bit like, but don't claim I started it. BTW Craig, it is completely laughable that you are comparing our situation to Blackburn and Portsmouth, and even more so you are attributing any failure of their sides on our ex-players. Especially since Blackburn have the same points as us and Portsmouth can leapfrog us on Saturday. Yes, we may come above both of them, and no doubt this huge achievement will confirm to you that that Souness is the bestest manager ever. But there is one tiny difference between us and them. Quite a big difference actually - about £40 million.
24. Agree. My front six (injury and form permitting) would be: ----------Owen--Shearer Luque---Emre--Parker---Solano Although I think it would be great to bring someone with Dyers pace on as the opposing defence tired. Also he played his best stuff alongside Nobby and Solano is talking up their partnership in the Journal this morning. 39979 Don't really see how it would be fair, or even advantageous, to bench N'Zogbia after his recent games tbh.
