1. They wouldn't be mediocre for long Isegrim. Which to be fair is why most premiership clubs are very resistant to the idea of them joining. It won't happen.
2. I know what you mean, I'm surprised it took someone as long as this to pick me up on it. I just feel that if an English club had a problem with racism like some did 20 years ago they would not be allowed into the league now. For me Celtic and Rangers have a problem of that scale now. It certainly doesn't seem to get the attention it needs to get sorted, maybe people don't shout loudly enough about this divide, God forbid there were Jews or Muslims involved! 55618 Well, for the record, I can see the problems people hae with Celtic/Rangers in the premiership. I speak purely from a selfish point of view in that I would relish the opportunity of going up to Glasgow twice a year rather than London seven times a year. I just think it would spice things up at a time when the premiership has become unbelievably flat and boring. But what about my idea for an anglo-scottish league cup? Would that not make this pointless competition a bit more interesting? I made this point once on a 5-live debate, only for McMenemy of all people to poo poo it, claiming it was too far for London clubs to travel. The wanker.
3. Erm, if you can be bothered, will you care to explain that? Give some examples? I think you'll find I comment on the efect Souness has had on our team on the pitch mainly, or things he has said taken literally verbatim (either what i've heard in an interview, or a direct quote). With Souness the facts speak for themselves. And for the last fucking time, I am not defending Robert, read this thread again if you don't believe me. All I have done is point out that what he does now does not have much relevance to what he did (notice past tense) for us where it counted, on the pitch. And I have also pointed out, there are many still at the club who have done and said far worse than Robert. Do you agree or disagree? 55603 Whos side are you on re Souness/Bellamy? 55612 For the record, I think they both handled the situation terribly, and Souness once again proved he is not a capable man-manager, and I personally think he had an agenda to be rid of Bellamy, which the welsh dwarf fell for. But, I really don't think I have ever contributed much at all to that particular debate, which is now beyond tedious, so what's your point?
4. Told you before son, Me = Acronym King, You = Lowly Peasant Good day. 55566 Technically I'm not even sure tbh is an acronym, tbh.
5. A bit harsh considering the fact you acknowledge that it is only a minority who are bigotted. How many Newcastle and Sunderland fans are bigotted towards each other? Given your previous definitions on what constitutes bigotry, I don't think the fact there is a religion element to it is really significant.

7. For the first time ever I'm in agreement with Foot Soldier, especially if they got in at the expense of two southern clubs. Both venues would be superb away trips compared to most we've got now. However, the first thing we should do is make the league cup more interesting by making it a Sottish-Anglo cup. On a one-off match basis I acually think the old firm would do OK. It's certainly make things more interesting, that's for sure.
8. Southwick. I met him on occasion. I won't say what I thought of him out of respect for the dead.
9. In this case, it would be difficult to stay on topic. Talking of which, no smut yet, not good enough. Minge. That's better. 55288 Than what? Bum? 55309 Dear me, plumbing new depths.

11. I think I said to be honest quite a lot anyway tbh but I'm a lot more conscious of it now tbqf 55278 Same here, I just regard it as a normal abbreviation of something I'd say in real life. Same with Oh ffs etc. Have you noticed it is harder to say w.w.w. than world wide web, but everbody still does?
12. Stand back, nothing to see here.......
13. Who's making a fuss? 55239 Well if I'm not mistaken, the story has made the news headlines and there appears to be some debate regarding the matter in this thread. 55241 Nobody is making a fuss about the actions of the French in this thread though are they? 55246 I just can't see why its a story ! So the French are chucking out illegal imigrants, hardly breaking news is it ? 55252 Agreed. Why are you making such a fuss about it?
14. light weight 55227 Vodka bar, Revolution, buy one get one free jugs last night... Fucking away with it! 55245 I thought they'd stopped such promotions but I obviously imagined it.
15. Who's making a fuss? 55239 Well if I'm not mistaken, the story has made the news headlines and there appears to be some debate regarding the matter in this thread. 55241 Not much of a debate about that tbh. There have been the usual veering off topic conversations about racism, immigration, and crime and punishment (started by you) thrown in though.
16. My god, are we agreeing at long last ? 55221 Who wouldn't agree with that? Makes perfect sense.
17. He seems fairly obsessed by Daily Mail topics though. 55186 A lot of people are 55187 I think they're called right-wing extremists. 55200 I just don't understand the obsession with race and the whole paranoia "we're being taken over thing". Or most laughibly, it is white anglo-saxon middle-aged men that are becoming a persecuted minority. Or the PC gone mad bollocks the Mail is always spouting. All favourite subjects of message boards, which divide the posting fraternity into either being a left-wing do-gooder sandalista, or a BNP supporting right wing facist bastard. No middle ground is allowed, of course. 55204 To be fair, thats because too many people actually base their opinions on what they read in tabloid newspapers. I agree though, it hardly enhances the debate does it? 55205 I used to have you down as a sandalista, but having read your anti-oirish comment, I realise I was wrong and you are a facist bastard!
18. Agreed. If I broke the law to that extent over here I'd expect to be shipped home. A Spanish friend of mine was shipped home from Ireland for being a silly boy, it's only the US that are obsessed with shipping other people's problems in to exact their revenge. There's a very strong cultural/racial element to this from what I can see over here by the way. And I don't just think it's one of these coincidental race/class cross-overs. 55199 I don't see how being shipped out of Ireland is a punishment, so I don't, to be sure. 55202 Definitely gaelicist! IP ban now!

21. What a load of bollocks, especially the last sentence. How would the new 90 day law have prevented the London bombings or 9/11? Or any other terrorist attack in history for that matter? Are you seriously telling me that it is likely a terrorist will be picked up and questioned for a whole 28 days, then released because the police had insufficient evidence against them, and go on to commit a terrorist act? They would be under constant surveillance until the police could actually do their job and charge them. Blair said after 9/11 that terrorists would never change our way of life, yet he has gone on to do exactly that. He is exploiting a fear of terrorism which is completely disproportionate to the real threat, and using this as a lever to erode democracy. The only winners here are the terrorists themselves. I'm no tory, but they were spot on in this case imo.
22. Ahhhh...bollocks! 54932 Worse news for you SLP, Celine Dione is there too.
