I can't? Why not?

Reminds me of the days when I used to come on the board after a few too many.

Hello you Aussie bastard.

Will fuck up international football I'll bet if the FA is picking up the tab. It'll be alright for some, but can you imagine Argentina being able to afford to pay compensation if one of their players got injured on national duty? They've barely got two beans to rub together. I like the fact that there was a 'compensation pot' but when that runs out then what will happen?

Bearing in mind that I've had to do these on a webcam the quality of the pictures are shite like. Massive heed. And a big do to go with it!

Peebles. Nah my family is from Aberdeen. From Bucksburn. Supporting Aberdeen just got passed down the ranks!

Thought I would bring this thread back to the forefront. I liked this one from ages ago. Aberdeen having a strange start to the season. Only one league defeat. A dire 1-0 defeat to Celtic. We were shit. However the Dons are doing alright in the league like. Celtic take care of Rangers and we beat Hearts at home (who haven't been nearly as good as they were last season) and we go second! Oh and, ahem, the small matter of losing to amateurs Queens Park in the League Cup. But after a 2-0 win at Falkirk things look back on track again. Bank of Scotland Premier League Table 1 Celtic 7 7 16 2 Hearts 7 3 13 3 Rangers 7 6 12 4 Aberdeen 7 4 12 5 Hibernian 7 4 11 6 Kilmarnock 7 -1 11 7 St Mirren 7 -1 10 8 Inverness CT 7 -1 7 9 Dundee Utd 7 -2 7 10 Falkirk 7 -6 7 11 Dunfermline 7 -3 5 12 Motherwell 7 -10 3 Could be worse I guess! As for the team I coach, Peebles Under 16's, we've had an interesting start to the season. An 8-0 tonking at home by Musselburgh was followed up by a 4-1 defeat against Preston Athletic. Musselburgh were incredible but Preston were poor and we should have done a lot better. Since then 4 wins on the bounce. 4-0 vs Duns, 9-0 vs Currie Star and 5-1 against Cavalry Park in the league. A 3-2 win in the Scottish Cup against Dalkeith who are in the league above was excellent. Lothian Buses Eastern Region Division 3 Edinburgh East 5 13 Preston Athletic 4 10 Musselburgh Windsor 3 9 Peebles 5 9 Cavalry Park 5 6 Murieston United Blue 4 6 Haddington United 3 4 Seton BC 2 4 Currie Star 5 3 Tranent Colts 4 3 Duns Juniors 6 0 How's everyone elses other teams doing?

Best I'll be able to do is find my webcam, then take pictures of any photos I can find. Then one of you buggers will have to upload it.

I'd rather he was more of a bad loser in truth. I agree that accepting defeat is a defeatist attitude. But then again we don't know how he acts in the dressing room. Perhaps it's all a front on the telly and he's kicking arse in the dressing room. We don't know.

In my opinion one of the myths I used to read on the old toontastic a while back from time to time which I couldn't help but blow out of the water was the myth that if Harper had played regularly he'd have been England's number 1. He's Newcastle's number 2 for a reason. There's no shame in being ranked below Shay Given in the pecking order mind you, but in my opinion Steve Harper is a decent keeper. One who will do a job, but certainly not one in my eyes who was ever an international candidate. Modest of you! One of my best features, my modesty.

All in the title.

I've been a vegetarian since I was about 11. School tried to brainwash you with all those slaughter house videos and telling you eating animals was bad. I was sucked in. To be honest I found it sickly and never been able to eat the stuff since.

Sounds good like. Trouble we might have is folk on holiday. Might look into it though.

About this time last year I went back into football coaching. I'm currently running the Peebles Under 16's side. We're thinking of going on a wee tour round about Easter time. We spoke briefly a while back about trying to go to Harlem in Holland to play in a tournament over there during the Easter weekend. In terms of fundraising and that our club is unreal in terms of making the lucre (Our boys club made £7,500 last December in one night by hosting a race night) but to raise the money to go to Holland for one team will probably be too much. I would quite like to bring them down to the North East if there's any decent tournaments in the area. They're a good side (so far this season 6 games, lost our first two 8-0 (ouch, but there's a story behind it) and 4-1. Won our last 4 games 4-0, 3-2, 9-0 and 5-1 this afternoon. I was hoping that someone could perhaps give me some info on some tournaments that take place in Newcastle for boys clubs. Preferably in April but any time should be ok.

I'm going for a 0-0 draw. Fuck knows why mind.

Is that STILL going on?
