Can't believe we won on penalties. Miracles do happen!

Bastard.

Unbelieveable.

The Radio Newcastle link went off when the game started. I could do with a link too. Good to see it's 1-0 already though.
-
Anyone got a link for commentary?

Well a 1-1 draw isn't a bad result at Inverness. We equalised in the 89th minute too. Draw was a fair result.

It's immense. Problem with it is that the atmosphere is in the top deck, which is the furthest away bit from the pitch.

Things going a little pear shaped in my second season. Sitting 9th in the SPL after 8 games. Haven't started well at all. Had Rangers away, Hearts away and Celtic at home first 3 games has set the tone so far. I'm now losing away games constantly by a goal. Chelsea employed me as a feeder team though and sent John Obi Mikel on loan though. He's pretty damned good.

No. I understand what you mean though. I just think we need some respite from our terrible league form, and at least if we beat Watford tomorrow, we've got something actually worth looking forward to.

Ayr must be a decent shout for the play-offs this year Monster. One of my best mates is an Ayr United fan and he certainly believes. Aberdeen are playing AGAIN on Monday this week. Away to Inverness. Win would put us joint second with Hearts. Seriously, if Aberdeen could get any level of consistency this year they could take the Champions League spot as Hearts and Rangers are there for the taking. Oh and Peebles 10-1 Cavalry Park.

Me cousin told me before didn't he get sent off 3 times in the one game? Aye he did. It was comedy. He got booked after 20 second of the game. T'was against Dundee United. He got sent off after about 15 minutes for the wildest of wild tackles. Then got sent off again for going nuts at the ref and refusing to go off. Then got a 3rd red for stealing the corner flag.

I'm just heading off to my bed just now. Football tomorrow. I'm hoping my football day tomorrow is a damn sight better than today.

Ended up finishing 4th with Aberdeen. So it's the Inter Galactic Cup for me. I think I'd have finished 3rd if this hadn't happened though. I hate injury fests. Out of all the injured guys there only Touzani wouldn't start. And he was playing because of Diamond's injury. Trying to win every week ain't easy with 6 of your best starting XI out like.

Deano! Deano! Deano! Legend is Dean Windass. Was class when he was at Aberdeen. The fans loved him. Sorry, but if it's a choice between talking about Dean Windass and the performance tonight, then Deano it is.

Quality. I especially love his reaction to that double save. Good on the lad.

Celtic fans are like any other fans. Some of them are great. Some of them a shit. Personally I can't be bothered with them normally. They have a superiority complex over everyone else, and they're also the most paranoid fans I've ever come across (although Hearts are at the moment trying to challenge for that title). They travel in big number and always go on about having such a big support. When you take into effect that they're from the biggest city in Scotland, have a large appeal all over Scotland due to their success, and of course they pander to their Irish roots to pick up loads of fans from across there. Not to mention the knucklehead brigade who say "Well I'm a catholic, I guess I better support rasellickfootballclubbytheway" then of course they should travel in big numbers. They caused enough trouble in Spain when they played Celta Vigo (I think) on route to Seville, and in Amsterdam a few years previously in a Champions League qualifier to show they're not whiter than white. Sometimes the way the are can be really makes me smile as most of the time when they travel abroad they're brilliant. However when they travel domestically they're nothing but nuisances. I laugh when they try to justify that Rangers are bigots and they aren't by using the "Rangers sing bigoted songs home and away, but we only do it away." moral high ground. Good on them for trying to show their good side on Wednesday. However I listened to the game on the radio and they reported that there were Celtic fans fighting among themselves before kick off.

Cannot grumble with my glorious Aberdeen side. After signing Allan McGregor to go in goal (as Langfield and Soutar are gash) he's been immense. Was having an early season crisis on the left wing so signed a guy called Ishmal Demontagnac from Walsall on a months loan. Turned out to be so ledge I spent 100k on him (Which was thankfully raised by selling Ritchie Byrne to Preston). Lee Miller has been a revelation too up front. Not exactly scoring every week (Something like 9 goals in 19 games I think) but he's creating so much for everyone else. SPL player of the month for 3 months in a row. Zander Diamond has been class recently too at the back. And he's scored in my last 3 games too. Including a last minute winner against Motherwell. Not exactly challenging the Old Firm but doing pretty well.
-
Aye good on Celtic for that. Very nice touch indeed.
-
That would be a clutch at straws way to end the trophy drout like.

After getting fed up of how awful Newcastle are I decided it was time to concentrate on my game as the super Dons. 5th in the SPL after 11 games. Started shite but doing very well now. I find that setting your defence to a direct ball, but setting midfielders and attackers to play it short works a treat. Been putting on some great performances.

We tend to do alright away in Europe. So I still have that slight optimism about me. To be realistic though you've got to expect a defeat.
