Halfway through season 4 with Aberdeen and things are going pretty well. Sitting 3rd, just 6 points off the second Champions League place. Won 4 games out of 4 in my UEFA Cup group which had Ajax, Palermo, Fenerbache and Austria Vienna. Will play Spurs in the last 32!

Aberdeen won 2-1 on Saturday against Motherwell to go joint second, after Hearts were appaling and drew with Falkirk tonight. There will always be at least 3 rubbish teams at the bottom of the league that will always give us a chance of staying up. The reason I'm worried is that at the moment teams like Sheffield United and Charlton don't actually look any worse than us.

I quite like Craig Moore (which isn't easy for an Aberdeen fan to say!) as his performances this season at times have held the defence together in times where it's been appaling. He's painfully slow though. His positioning is still very good, but those times that it's slack he's aswell just giving up as even Shola with his dodgy hip would outrun Moore.

Aye it's fucking horrible like. I was the same. I've only had flu once. When I was about 16 I think it was. I was dying. Today? Totally fucked. I know it's not flu but it's DEADLY MAN FLU which we all know is decidedly worse. And my team have a cup tie at 2. I'm just leaving now. Should be a fun day at the office. Brr.

Well, it has become a relegation battle for us. The small consolation about that is that every game from now until we're either safe or down will be exciting as fuck. Including today. COME ON THE MAGS.

Are you sure it's 2 years? Will it not be more like 4? I've got a feeder club in Spain. I'm actually loaning a guy there right now, who I got on a free and isn't on high wages, so that's ok. But Johnson is costing me 1.5 million and about 6k a week. A lot of money when you're Aberdeen!

As Aberdeen I tried to sign some Brazillian winger. He only had Under 21 caps, but no problem, work permit arrives. Happy days. He's on a Bosman though so have to be patient. However I need a forward. I look no further than Jimbo's favourite son, Eddie Johnson. £1.5 million? A bargain. And an affordable one at that. 31 caps for America too so shouldn't be a problem. But he gets turned down. Why are the work permits so wonky? I am furious.

Halfway through my 3rd season with Aberdeen sitting 5th. Could easily finish anywhere between 2nd and 7th in truth. Beat Galatasaray 5-1 on aggregate in the UEFA Cup (5-0 win away with new signing 34 year old Antoine Sibierski getting a hat-trick ) but got horsed in my group which was Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Palermo and CSKA Sofia. Had a good 2-1 win at Parkhead though. First win in Glasgow in the new game. My last game was a 6-0 thrashing of Inverness away.
