  1. Does anyone have a feed for coverage of this?
  2. Chris Maguire becomes decent enough. He's the type that if you play him, he'll score you goals. He's no world beater, but he's still pretty good.
  3. You could always just download this mate. http://www.sortitoutsi.net/getfile.php?act...oad&id=2512 Back Up all files in ?:\Football Manager 2007\data\700\db\lnc\all and replace with this file. It should fix Fake names, national teams, and competition names
  4. Glad to see Celtic qualify. After all, the more games Celtic win in Europe, the better it is for the co-efficiants.
  5. Can't speak for Scott Brown here, but Kevin Thomson doesn't seem to have any thoughts of leaving this season. He does a column in the paper up here and it looked to me that he may be trying to orchestrate a move out. However from what he's saying to us (he's a good Peebles lad after all) he loves playing for and captaining Hibs. He'll not be leaving in January. Kevin is a very good player, but again, it's not as if we need midfielders. From a personal point of view I'd love to see a friend play for Newcastle though.
  6. Never had any help. Disappointment. I haven't a clue how to do it either mate.
  7. Kisnorbo wasn't bad for Hearts. However he couldn't pass a ball to save his life. I doubt he's the answer.
  8. I was hoping it would fix the bug that when your striker is at the most ridiculous angle and you've got got players unmarked in the middle, your guy still has a stupid shot. That being said I'm happy with the improvements. A lot of what I've been pissed off about, especially on the match screen, is due to be fixed, which is a bonus.
  9. Aberdeen 2-0 St. Mirren. After Rangers beat Hearts today we sit joint second in the SPL. 1 Celtic 15 21 40 2 Rangers 15 7 25 3 Aberdeen 15 6 25 4 Hibernian 15 12 22 5 Hearts 15 5 22 6 Kilmarnock 15 -4 22 7 Inverness CT 15 -3 19 8 Falkirk 15 -1 18 9 St Mirren 15 -6 16 10 Dundee Utd 15 -14 14 11 Motherwell 15 -11 12 12 Dunfermline 15 -12 12 My team won 3-2 this afternoon. We got the most laughable penalty ever with about 5 minutes to go to win the game.
  10. We could do a lot lot worse than Shaun Maloney. He's a very good player.

    FAO Meenzer

Happy birthday to all who are celebrating theirs over these couple of days!
  12. Well after my leg waxing escapades, I think I've done my bit this year!
  13. Dunno why, but the image of that made me chuckle.
  14. Was Jimbo the player at hand?
  15. Sitting pretty at the top of the SPL after 15 games. 8 point lead too. Things could be worse. Unfortunately I'm now having one of those injury fests which is not going to make life too easy. Unbeaten all season in all competitions, but I can't see that lasting much longer as we're going to be super under strength for the next month or two.

    Woodgate27

    Have a good one mate.
  18. I was going to disagree with Woodgate's Vyacheslav Hleb recommendation as I was playing him on the right wing and he was playing pish. Stuck him up front last season during a striker crisis. He's now first choice striker. Goal machine. Just got a hat-trick for me in a 3-1 win at Parkhead.
  19. Go on Titus. I wish I'd taken a screen shot of a news thing I got. My physio was telling me about an injury one of my players got. It was something like "X has turned up to training today with a wrist injury. He says he picked up the injury lifting weights in the house." or something like that. My physio seemed a bit suspicious.
  20. I'm guessing a 3-1 home win, usually happens. 2-2 draw, with a last minute equaliser. Unfortunately Rangers are now off the bottom though. JJ's definitely got FM syndrome being up at these hours. In fairness I only played till about 1am that night. I think it was Sunday night I played till about half 5.

  22. Sherman Cardenas. Young Columbian right winger. If he gets a work permit he's a must.
  23. Me and a mate started a game in the Conference North Jonny. I went Blyth and my mate went Kettering. It was nigh on impossible to get decent players. Now, if Carlsberg made league tables.......... Up next......... Rangers at Ibrox.
  24. I had a Spanish feeder team and I sent a guy called Marcelo Boliviano there on loan. He then picked up Spain as his second nationality in about 15 months. Unfortunately I couldn't get him back till the end of the season.
  25. Andre Duarte. Starts off really young at Gremio. Second nationality French though so no work permit problems. Once he develops he'll score for fun.
