  1. In my first season I barely signed anyone mate and ended up playing...... McGregor (from Rangers) Hart, Touzani, Anderson, Smith Clark, Dempsey, Severin, Demontagnac (from Walsall) Miller, Lovell It went pretty well like. Think I finished 4th in the first season but should have finished 3rd but totally blew it.
  2. The King of Spain dismisses Damien Martyn. 198/3.
  3. The good old days. I feel a "Woo-hoo Woo-Hoo-Hoo" in the key of C, is neccesary Woo-Hoo, Woo-hoo-hoo
  4. Somehow I made my request thing disappear. Can you try again please?
  5. <---------------------Click my profile thingy.
  6. No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no no to Ricksen?
  7. No limit to our stupidity if we sign him.
  8. I see she's buggered off. Disappointed *cries*
  9. There's a story in the Daily Record up here with Neil Lennon saying that Gary Neville said to him Louis Saha was going to miss the penalty. I thought that kind of thing was Newcastle United exclusive!
  10. Only on Sky. Disappointing really. There's not a lot of things protected by the terrestrial rulings over here. There's a list of them somewhere that someone will no doubt dig up. The World Cup, FA Cup Final, Olympics etc have to be on terrestrial TV, but anything else is fair game for Sky, including live cricket. Not a single England test match will be available on terrestrial TV here which in my view is poor. That being said, in Sky's defence they pay a lot of money and the coverage is really good. But still, it's a shame for those who don't have Sky. One of the beauties of the last Ashes series in 2005 was that every ball was free to air and so even the casual cricket fan got well involved. This year it doesn't matter how good the series is, there'll not be the same interest. Not just due to the time difference too.
  11. Live on the telly here. Aye I know that. One or two were like me who didn't have Sky and were stuck with radio. Just as I posted that I noticed those folk had fucked off! Get in. Flintoff strikes!
  12. Are you still as mad as ever?
  13. I have a stream. A bit apprehensive to post it on the forum just incase, so PM me for the link if you like.
  14. I hope Freddy has another series like the last one. Good to see England have struck, hopefully more to come very soon!
  15. Aye, they've even got funky scorecard graphics on the coverage. That's about as exciting as it gets for me unfortunately.
  16. Harmison bowls a shocker to start with. Hope that's not setting the tone.
  17. Aye don't even mention THAT tackle. It was Darren Young. It was a shocker.
  18. That's quality. My Grandad is about 80 and he's in better shape than me. Likes the younger women too. I swear he's still better with women than me.
  19. With at starting at midnight I'd assume it'll finish around 7.30-8.00am.
  20. Over the last few years he was one of their best players.. Nah he was for one season. The one he played in centre midfield. When he played at right back he wasn't that great. If we're trying to replace Carr at right back, Ricksen isn't the answer. So my reaction to this? NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
  21. Yay. Stewart Milne is doing my tits in, constantly accepting offers for players by going over my head to do it. Bastard. Hopefully he'll be a wee bit nicer now we've made the Champions League. Got the Scotland job too. My group for Euro 2012 qualifying is Portugal, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Macedonia. Won first 5 games in the group and with a great chance of qualifying. First beat the Borats 3-0 away. Then a 1-0 win at home to the Ukraine with a late winner. Then somehow beat Portugal 1-0 away after being played off the park for the whole game. Beat Macedonia 3-1 at home, then the Borats got horsed 7-2 at Hampden (even Gary Caldwell scored twice). Ukraine (a), Macedonia (a) and lastly Portugal (h). 5 points ahead of Portugal and 8 ahead of the Ukraine who have a game in hand. Scotland haven't qualfied for a tournament yet in my game, so hopefully I can change that.
  22. I don't have Sky so I'm assuming it'll be Test Match Special for me! Even so, and despite my lack of optimism, I'm excited about the Ashes this time again. I'd love to see England retain, but I'm about as confident as most that it'll happen unfortunately.
