JJ although the lbw-o-meter did look like it was going high, that side camera angle, 45 deg left of bowler, did look plum. There's not a lot of bounce in that wicket. He was so far forward though and it was still on the rise. I think it was a shocker myself. That being said 1) He shouldn't have been leaving it and 2) it's no excuse anyway for a horrendous day with the bat.

Strauss and Harmison have been extremely unlucky with decisions today, but I hope England don't use that as an excuse if they lose this test match.

I don't think Ponting is playing for a win though. If he wants the win, he needs to be more agressive in his fielding. Especially with Lee's bowling. I see what you're saying. He's been too obsessed with giving Collingwood the single and then getting the tailenders on strike.
