  1. Is there stories going that Glenn McGrath will retire too wellsy? Or is that speculation on your part about what's been happening off the field to him? I can see where you're coming from, and it would be a real shame for not just Australia, but cricket in general. One of the highlights for me of the last Ashes, despite the fact that I wanted England to win, was watching Shane Warne bowl. I've watched him bowl for 10 years, and if I could, I'd watch him for another 10. Incredible to watch. McGrath is the master too. Despite the fact that Warne and McGrath are key to Australia being the number 1 side in the world, I'd be sad to see either of them go after this series. Stuart MacGill wouldn't be a bad replacement at all though.
  2. Second inspection going on about now. Would be quite comedy if the Arsenal fans had travelled all the way up and it gets called off.
  3. Flintoff would struggle to get a game if he couldn't bowl in my opinion. His bowling is superb, but his batting at times leaves a lot to be desired at times.
  4. Hearts 0-1 Aberdeen. Things could barely look better for the table. P GD PTS 1 Celtic 18 23 47 2 Aberdeen 19 10 34 3 Rangers 18 12 31 4 Kilmarnock 19 -2 29 5 Hearts 19 7 27 6 Hibernian 19 9 26 7 Falkirk 19 -2 24 8 Dundee Utd 19 -11 23 9 Inverness CT 19 -7 20 10 St Mirren 19 -7 19 11 Motherwell 19 -12 18 12 Dunfermline 19 -20 13
  5. Balls. If you want the match stream I can give you the links to the download, but it takes ages to load and the quality isn't good. Buffers all the time.
  6. http://matchlive.crewealex.premiumtv.co.uk...ch_console.html Below where it's got the latest scores, click on that green button that's slightly hidden, it'll give you the match list. Good luck
  7. what's the best radio link? That I can't help you with. I'm listening to Hearts vs Aberdeen. I've got one that might work, give me 2 minutes.
  8. I found a link on TVAnts, but the quality is shite. I would just use the radio.
  9. I'm sick of this. England probably will win a test match on this tour. But as usual it'll will be after the Ashes are lost.
  10. Could be exciting times ahead. Could be a disaster mind, but I'm happy to have read this today. Hopefully this is the start of the club being properly structured for once.
  11. England are showing absolutely zero guts. Apart from the tail. It's ridiculous that 10 and 11 put up the highest partnership of the innings. That being said Harmison and Panesar's knock was great entertainment. The fact that Giles was picked for his batting over Panesar and Monty hits 16 not out and batting comfortably makes the decision to pick Giles look even stupider. Even if England can bowl Australia out for 250 or so again I'd not back England to chase it down. Looks like the Ashes may be won before you go to the MCG mate.
  12. Where's that mental Santa's sleigh game that was on here a couple of years ago. That was quality!

    Cheating Scum

I think it was a game against Fulham a few years ago when Griffin tackled Boa Morte pretty much above the waist Great stuff. Don't even think he got a yellow either IIRC. He nearly killed Beckham as well iirc. Did he not do exactly the same to Ginola too? Animal.
  14. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/other_spor...ker/6180591.stm Strange really. I wonder what's going on inside his head now?
  15. Happy enough with the first day. Hopefully Collingwood and Strauss can score well in the morning and set the foundations for an England win. I do worry about Bell though. He can make big scores but he's always such a candidate for dismissals early on in his innings it's not true. England have to push on from here, although there was a bit of life in the pitch so it's by no means a guarantee. The Aussies kinda got themselves out though with some poor shots at times.
  16. Well done to Panesar in proving he should be in the side. I worried that the pressure on him was getting to him as he struggled a bit at times, bowling long hops and getting spanked for 17 in one over. Got himself back in very well though and credit to Flintoff for leaving him on. The 3 biggest threats Australia have IMO are Ponting, Hussey and Gilchrist. Fair enough Hussey is closing in on 50, but to get Ponting out for 2 and to get Gilchrist out for 0 is a great effort on the first day. 6/184 at tea.
  17. Aye Ricky Ponting in getting out before a century shocker. And the Monster strikes! 69/3. Good morning for England. Hopefully this is the start of the fightback. England have to win this test, and if they can bowl Australia out cheaply then they'll give themselves every chance. Easier said than done though, but a very good start.
  18. England wicket and YET AGAIN it's Hoggard. Hayden out. Australia 47/1. That's the good news. Bad news it brings bloody Ricky Ponting to the crease.
  19. Aye it's a shame like. It's going to be a big few days for him. Australia 45/0.
  20. Aye he's good. Doubt he'd improve the midfield though. Craig Gordon is incredible. That being said goalkeeper is hardly a position we need to fill at the moment.
  21. Sibierski off Luque on. If you're ever going to get into Roeder's good books this is you chance!
