I know the accent, it can make a 17 year old sound about 80. It's only for one night like. We've got a big slot through the day where we're doing nothing, are there any large golf courses knocking about? The only golf course I know if is the one next to Pittodrie Stadium. Of course, it's inbetween the stadium and the sea, so I can't imagine it's particularly big, and if it is, I can imagine the sea air being an absolute bitch!

Renton had it spot on. We sacked Robson and replaced him with Souness and that day was devastating for me. Look what happened. We sacked Robson for finishing 5th and having our usual poor start. We'd kill for fifth now. Relegation absolutely matters. Staying up gives us hope that maybe we can get it sorted. Of course there's always the possibility that this will be the yearly occurance for a few years until we actually go down. Going down could set the club back years. With the way money rules football, it's hard enough to turn a team around to the point they can challenge for anything without spending time in the second tier. Of course, if we go down I'll put the usual positive spin on it to make me feel better, but I'll be devastated.

Don't worry about me man. I was hoping for July anyway as I work most Saturdays and couldn't get two off in a row. I'm off over the weekend of the 13th for a night out in Dundee.

Predictably I fucking love Aberdeen. Have fun with the accent.

I'm Bristol City in my second season. First season I finished 7th and generally did ok. Second season is driving me bonkers. So far I've played 10 games and I'm sitting 18th. It wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't dominating almost every game I play. First three games of the season I played the opposition off the park for the entire game and finished with two 2-0 defeats and a 1-1 draw. Out of my 10 games I've been outplayed 2 times and deservedly beaten, but dominating loads of games and losing is infuriating. If I'm behind and I equalise the opposition tend to take the lead almost immediately and if I go in front I can't hold it no matter what I do. I've built a pretty good team and don't have any real weaknesses. I just can't score and when I do, they reply almost instantly. Help!!!!!!! Any decent tactics and training would be appreciated.

Haven't played much FM the past couple of years, but just borrowed the new game from a mate. Uh-oh. Goodbye life.

I haven't been following Formula 1 over the past few years. What the hell brought this on? This might be a Jimbo's telly moment too.

Really positive performance in a huge game. Gutierrez I thought was awful, but other than that I was impressed. Showed a lot of guts. Good on them. I thought the og would kill them too. Great character.

Have you got a date for this yet? I might be interested.
-
Horrific defending. Can't say much more than that.
-
Absolutely. Would be huge. Freddie Roach kinda hinted towards it during his interview after the fight last night. No doubt that camp would be interested. Certainly Mayweather snr would be up for revenge too after Hatton got slaughtered.

Aye his gameplan looked pretty poor. Had a little success getting inside to begin with and was so gung ho after that and kept getting caught trying to get back inside. Zero discipline and just allowed himself to get picked off. Ricky started the second round like a guy fighting in a pub and it was a matter of time. Gotta love Pacquaio. Hell of a fighter. Didn't fancy Hatton to win it, but thought he'd put up more of a fight than he did.
-
Glad to see him walk out, even if he was wobbly. Was really worried there. Shame to see that. Hatton got outclassed by a great fighter.

Pair of pricks. I could live with the drinking part to a certain extent, but they deserved to be punished. To sit on the bench and act like schoolboys though was pathetic. Ferguson is overrated and Craig Gordon is a better keeper than McGregor, but that doesn't mean neither is useful to have around. After their display on Wednesday though it's good fucking riddance.

To be fair to the Polish, the lasses we get here are stunning, and with the sun out for once in Scotland, it's looking good.

Jesus man! Glad to hear everything worked out okay.

Been to see Hearts and hibs a couple of times. Went to one Edinburgh derby, and saw Hearts play Livingston and Celtic, and Hibs play Gretna and Kilmarnock. Went to see Leicester a few times, and also took in Burton Albion against Morecambe when I was down there. Been to Blackpool and York for football too, but it was years ago and can't remember who they were playing.

It's been a typically frustrating season at Aberdeen. Still got a chance to get into Europe via the league, but they've been stuttering like hell. They put in their best performance in years and wiped the floor with Celtic in January, beating them 4-2. Since then there's been 1 win (a 1-0 home win against Hamilton) and they've been pathetic. To top it all off, they drew 1-1 at Dunfermline in the Scottish Cup quarter final, and then embarrassed themselves at home live on Sky in one of the worst matches to watch in history. 0-0 after 120 minutes and then got beat on penalties. Nice to see us keeping up the tradition of making twats of ourselves on Sky in the Scottish Cup after last years mental 4-3 loss against Queen of the South in the semis! I was unfortunately at that one and it was insane. My old man came with us and fucked off for something to eat at half time. It was 1-1. When he got back to his seat it was about 8 minutes into the second half and we were 3-2 down. Total madness. After 45 minutes it was 1-1 and after 60 minutes it was 4-3.

Congratulations guys!

Well, SPL isn't a pleasure to watch either. The SPL is quite honestly the most pathetic league on Earth.

Hey feckers. Now I haven't been since the start of last season due to now working every Saturday. I still love the club, but my lethargy with football at the moment comes from the Premiership rather than Newcastle United. NUFC are pissing me off royally for obvious reasons but it's the Premiership that fails to interest me nowadays. Watching Premiership games now reminds me of Serie A about 10 years ago. Everyone used to slag off Italian football for being boring, but now other than Manchester United most teams are pretty shit to watch. If it comes down to it and the team is relegated while I'll obviously be devastated, in a way it'll be a breath of fresh air. And I guess the quest to get back into the Premiership may help me appreciate it a little more. There's a part of me that still can't see us going down, although I'd put that down more to blind faith.

Good. Get the ugly bastard out of Scotland. He'll probably do pretty well at Villa mind.

Just read about this. I was lucky enough to meet him. Everything you hear about him is true. Lovely, intellegent, and a joy to talk to. It's going to be a sad day when he departs. A sad, sad day.

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope you all have a great one.
