Just been outside to have a look at the Perseid meteoroid shower. Seen a few but it will be better as it gets even darker. Should be able to see Ursula Major and the Andromeda galaxies tonight with a decent telescope.

Like i said...Based on what then? What did you find when you "looked into it" that made you go from believing to not? Come on Wolfy lad...Back your shit up.

This. The only thing that is making me think we may not even play a 3 in midfield is AP's comments earlier in the summer about Ba playing centrally. That system with a middle three relied on Ba playing wide left. I'd quite like us to shift to a narrow 4312 with two balanced attacking full backs, two box to box midfielders in the 3 (Tiote and Anita) Cabaye centrally pulling the strings with Ben Arfa in the hole behind Ba (Central) and Cisse.

Based on what? So we dont have ISS orbiting our planet and others? We dont have space stations? We dont have manned shuttles exploring space? Open your eyes...Literally!

Good lad. Go and open your mind a little bit. Do a bit of research. Embrace change and possibility. Not everything is a conspiracy. Space exploration serves many many purposes. Remember NASA is only one organisation. If only we knew what the Russians, Indians and the Chinese know from their own studies.

Brian Cox is an irritating fucker but interesting and knowledgable...Wolfy is just irritating.

Like i said. You are a fool. Sorry like but you are.

I'd rather not What a muppet

You are a fool. No disrespect but you are. Of course it is real. I've heard about people like you (stupidly naive) but didnt think they actually existed. We actually only know a very small amount about what we have learned from space exploration. Why have we not been told more? Because people like you cant even accept that we have landed an unmanned vehicle on Mars which can take and transmit images back to earth. God help us if they actually found organic life there what would you say then? Fuckin hell man.

Ok so last season we were heavily linked with left backs Cissokho and Pieters. Assuming AP wanted to move Santon to RB. This summer we have heard nothing about the above and more so linked with RB's in Debuchy, Van Der Wiel and Clyne. Although i think Debuchy would be an immense signing does everyone think we should be signing a RB? Wouldnt a LB be better for the side? Left footer on the left and a right footer on the right? Now some may mention Jonas and Ben Arfa playing on opposing flanks to their stronger foot but i think it works better in midfield than in defence. We should be looking at a LB imho.

Why not? I like Jonas and he does a good job in CM but i'd rather have a quality CM in there. Anita, Tiote and Cabaye would be awesome.

I was meant to quote, agreeing with J2J who had said Arsenal had spent well. My bad. -

Think we will see: Krul, Raylor, Saylor, Colo, Santon, Obertan, Cabaye, Anita*, Jonas, Ba, Cisse. *If he signs. If not then Probably Gosling although i'd like to see Bigi given a go in the Tiote role. Personally if Tiote and Ben Arfa arent fit enough then I'd rather see Marveaux start on the left and move Jonas to the right. Amalfitano, Obertan and Shola on with 20mins to go. 2-1 Cabaye and Ba -

They have. If RVP stays and Arsenal go with a front three of RVP, Podolski and Giroud they will do very very well. I actually think the could still do very well with just the latter two should RVP leave. RE Rodwell. I have always thought he looked a quality player in the making but injury had curtailed his progress. Moving to City is actually a good move. He will have to fight it out with top quality CM's which will only aid his development. Plus with the likes of Hart, Richards, Barry, Johnson and Milner around him it will do his push for the England squad wonders imo. Can see him playing a good few games for them should he stay fit and when Yaya goes to the ACON. -
Spot on. Same thing happened with Twente and De Jong although the player himself prefered Dortmund. Clubs know we have money to spend and will hike the price up as they see fit to drive more out of the deal. Clubs also look at how we have done cheaper/smarter deals for the likes of Tiote and Cabaye where we have got them cheap and their value has rocketed. Thats got to piss off both Twente and Lille. I do however get frustrated with it all. If Lille want 1mil more then in the grand scheme of things that is nothing and we should pay it for the greater good. The team. If however they are wanting say 3mil more then we walk away because paying what they demand to that fee would set a precedant to other clubs that we can be bullied around. We have done so well being hard nosed negotiators with both incoming and outgoing deals, doing what is right for the club. Im happy to be patient but come Sept 1st and we havents brought in 2 or 3 quality additions then i think MA, DL and LC have dropped a rick.

Hi guys and gals! Agreed. Anita is a great footballer and would definitely add quality to our side. Proper footballing quality. The thing is, he can stay at Ajax and start most games in a CM position. The position he prefers and excels in. He will be looking for clarification from Pardew as to how many games AP sees him playing and in what position. Im all for us going with a narrow 4321 with Anita and Tiote either side of Cabaye. Ben Arfa in the whole behind Ba and Cisse. Get that right and that could be lethal. Only thing is that is heavily reliable on fullbacks getting up and down providing width. If we go get a LB instead of a RB then it would work quite well imo. Fwiw i can see Anita rejecting us on the basis we wont be playing a system that suits him more often than not.
