What Millers are you referring to? This?
-
FFS will continue on with his Geordie nation... what teams in the area are up for sale?
-
Not me. Can't get FM in the states.
-
Surely Freddy can get in there and double the offer? Isn't that 50p at the current exchange rate?
-
First 'haway', then this. You sure you're not a mackem? fat I can handle, bald? sure why not? twat, it's a fair comment... but Mackem? eegads man, I've raped a man for less! I say it like Hooahs? Do you say Haws? What exactly is your "breaking point" between not raping and raping a man???

Good point. Solano? Seems to be the type that Sam gets a few more years out of than other coaches are capable of doing.

As has been said in every article that I have read in the past week, a new manager means all the players start over with a clean slate. With that being said, who has the best future at Newcastle United? I am beginning to think it will be Given and Butt. The results of this thread will help me in determining what name to put on the back of the new shirt I plan on getting and as I have to give my right arm and firstborn child in postage, I want to be sure that I can wear it for a while.

Moore said that this would be his last season in the PL as he was looking to finish his career back home in Australia iirc.

The difference being Gooch wasn't our player whereas Ramage already is. We'd have basically been paying a transfer fee with Oneyewu (sp?) just to see if he was good enough. No more of that sort of money wasting thanks. Ramage will probably leave in time too but we need bodies at the minute. Can't see him being anywhere near first choice next season though. I see the point. I just felt that Onyewu had more of a desire than any other partner he had (except for Taylor) just didn't have the opportunity to form the partnership. And I had my heart set on my new top with Onyewu on the back... He didn't get much of a chance to be fair. He was a bit Bramble-esque, never looked comfortable on the ball, maybes it was down to the different style of play over here? That is what I tend to believe. But with more of a chance with an established (and I mean constant, not good) player next to him, he may have adapted. Trying to keep up with the PL should have been his priority. Doing that and trying to figure out how the person next to him is going to screw up would be making things more difficult than they need to be.

His boycott of the beeb isn't going to win any of their writers over either. Now that Sam is with Newcastle, I expect more articles such as this one.

Totally agree with this...

Would have liked Gooch to stay... never thought he got a proper chance... would prefer him over Ramage. I might have a bias due to his nationality...

With the talks of the takeover... would the new owners be willing to pay that much?
-
Will have to go with our backup choice of Houllier if Citeh hijack SA.
-
Freddy is an international embarassment...
-
Is it bothering anyone else that FFS appears to only be going after SA (if he hasn't made the decision already)?
-
I expect to see SA up in the stands with an earpiece on at Watford.

If Allardyce is appointed (and currently I don't have an opinion on whether this is a good selection or not) how much time is the general fanbase of NUFC going to wait for results from SA? For that matter, what manager would have the supporters full backing to take as long as he needed to build a team of contenders? Just curious.
-
A question: Would Allardyce follow his current method of bringing in older (experienced) players if he was to get the position at NUFC or was that due to the money that he had been given while at BWFC? What young promising talent has his scouting setup brought?

I recently heard that they were talking about closing the Gosport Ferry. Good to see that will be running. Other than that, maybe this stadium will attract visitors attention away from the Spinnaker Tower.

Using the Louis Van Gaal method of pregame Roeder bashing... good move.
