  1. Wasn't one of Anita's better games when he played left back (last year iirc)?
  2. I was wondering if that would be the case. I have watched the first three episodes...
  3. Just finished Daredevil Season 2 last week and thought it was excellent. I liked the characters of Elektra and Punisher. I had heard somewhere that Bernthal (Punisher) may be getting his own series based on this role due to his performance. Jessica Jones was good as well but I think it will be better in the second season. I like Gotham. Haven't watched Arrow or the others... I was always more of a Marvel fan than DC comics but I will say that the new show Lucifer (based on the DC/Vertigo comics) isn't bad.
  4. I have been deluding myself by thinking of a scenario where if we do go down, Benitez will stay as a board member or Director of something... allowing for one of his assistants to manage the team on a day to day basis and get the experience to move on when they are ready (I have heard he likes to have "students" that he teaches) so when the team comes up the following year he steps back in and leads us to the land of milk and honey and silverware. I dream...
  5. Must have been one hell of a derby! http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/history/newcastle-sunderland-15-titanic-tyne-11050935
  6. Don't know about the UK but the paper used for business cards over here is a bit too stiff to roll properly
  7. Can't believe how excited/nervous I am for this game. Before Rafa I would have written it off and resigned myself to the fact that we were going down but the prospect of next season in the top flight with Benitez at the helm just adds to the pressure. I will be watching this one from behind the couch. Already told the wife to take the new baby for a walk Sunday morning...
  8. I have a similar situation. I have had to get new business cards each year for the past four years because my title keeps changing... they make great bookmarks though.
  9. For different reasons. Rubio was elected to Congress riding on the wave of the Tea Party movement but since then really hasn't done anything of note. His attendance and voting record were ridiculous. He was absent a large percentage of the time when Congress would be in session and I think that record hurt his chances with his constituents. Someone had said on Twitter, if Rubio had shown up to do his job in Congress, maybe the people of Florida would have shown up for him. His foreign policy was a bit extreme (going with his Tea Party background) as well which put people off. The main reason though is that Florida is full of people that are bat-shit crazy. http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/the-101-most-insane-things-that-have-ever-happened-in-florid#.nfXBbgwK
  10. I remember that. I thought the LuaLua incident was the reason the clubs started making that agreement...
  11. Thanks for that. Needed something else to help with optimism for Sunday.
  12. I have just had a read on Rafa's records in derbies, but does anyone know where I could possibly find his record against Fat Sam?
  13. This is DeJong the striker. God knows what we had...
  14. Currently finishing up the editor's edition of Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. Next up will be The Road Beneath My Feet by Frank Turner
  15. Trump had a rally at an amphitheatre a half mile from my house... stayed in the confines of my home but watched it via stream. The man really doesn't say anything! Just tosses out catch phrases: "going to build a wall", "going to have the best negotiators" etc. etc. etc. Boggles the mind how many people are jumping on this bandwagon!
  16. Fenwicks window will be busy, I presume?
  17. I've never used these emoticons before but the occasion calls for it...
  18. I would bet the players would actually play if he were to come...
