What is the difference between a Mackem and a Geordie
AmericanMag replied to Douggy B's topic in Newcastle Forum
Are you serious? Out of all the places in the world and you come up with that one? Bergamo is a fantastic place, way better than Milan in my humble opinion. New York's bitter shit equivalent is Newark btw Stevie. Philadelphia is like 2.5 hours away. You probably won't have heard of it and you definitely don't want to go there - crime capital of the USA. I was about to say the same thing... Newark (Southern New Jersey actually) is a cess pool! Philadelphia is rather nice. And regarding the OP: Even I can tell the difference between the Geordie and Mackem accent! -
Look at fixtures fucking hell....Look at them P8 W0 D2 L6 now. Look at their next four games Bolton H Arsenal A Liverpool H Man City A now the very very best case scenario of this is they will get to game 13 with this record P12 W1 D2 L9 Pts 5 Looking further in to the future their last three away games are Man Utd, Everton and Liverpool last day.....it really would be class, superb even. Was it here or the Tottenham board where someone said that even the fixtures were laughing at them? Still funny though

Quite the young entrepeneur! $250,000 a year and only 17! Must be foreign investments since he is earning the dollar in blackpool...

Being the pessimist, I say give it time. This may just be the honeymoon period you see when a new manager takes over. Hope I am wrong though...

Funny thing is I have run into Alfonso Ribeiro a couple of times out and about here in South Florida and from talking to him... I wouldn't be surprised if this was actually him!
-
Alright then, why don't you go on and have a good night out... It's still a bit early for me yet. I will stay right here and constantly scan the bbc/ssn websites for the breaking NUFC news that will shock the world...

Triggy your 18 and you still eat 10p bags of space raiders, that's embarrassing. Expressing a football opinion, when you've watched the game for over 25 years, and have forgotten more games than some teenage members have even attended, is not embarrassing. i'm 19 by the way and i'm embarrassed for you Why would I your opinion matter and would I care though, why?

I was thinking the same thing, actually. A trip to the US would be a closer option and if the doctors here are good enough for knee work (Dr. Steadman and Shearer) then I can't imagine achilles issues couldn't be addressed either. (not necessarily by the same doctor mind)

Stretchered off therefore bound to be fit to face us Appears you were right... Robinho should be fit in time according to SSN but Petrov will be out for an extended time due to ligament damage to the knee. If memory serves, he was a problem for us last year.
-
What's the latest on Robinho and the knock he picked up on international duty? It wouldn't be bad for us if he had to miss this match, that's for sure.
-
For some reason... every time I read his posts and "LEEDS" I would hear it in an Eddie Izzard voice when he was doing that bit about bees.. "I am covered in BEEEEEEES"

Brazlian Soccer School Founder To Head Up Toon Youth Development
AmericanMag replied to wykikitoon's topic in Newcastle Forum
Never heard of the bloke but that's a plus point for starters. Not really. Harry Redknapp was at West Ham when they had one of the best academy's in the country so I think he knows a thing or two about youth set ups and if he wasn't impressed with this Clifford bloke then I don't see it as a plus. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2005/no...ory.southampton Redknapp's a cockend and I should think he had very little to do with the youth setup at West Ham tbh. So you don't think he had any idea how the youth set up worked while he was manager there? Strange that he would watch the Clifford train the young lads when at Southampton even though he was only there for less than a year yet have little to do with the West Ham set up in 7 years, apart from bringing the likes of Ferdinand, Lampard and Cole up through into the first team. Out of interest: How is the youth setup at Pompey? There isn't a player on the current squad that has come through the ranks iirc, and he has had plenty of time to set it up the way he would like (even with his stint at Southampton)... -
Alright then.

If your pusuit of knowledge consists of looking into the accounts of teams that you don't support... then yes, I would say that is sad.
-
He has? Have you seen where we are now? And did you see where we were with Keegan? I think we could do with out being saved like this, and I'd really hate to see him actively try to destroy a club. At least you have got a rubbish club to watch. You may have had no club, or at the very least, one with -10 points. And you think this because? Let me guess, you read that Ashley said unless he came in the club would sink (a claim dismissed by the previous owners), yeah, because everything MA said was true wasn't it I remember looking at your accounts a few years back under Shepherd. You gearing was terminal and you were carrying a mountainous overdraft that could have been called in at any time. Anybody who knows about finance knows that debt should be manageable and structured. Having a Overdraft at 17% rather than a loan at 5% tells me that the markets were no longer willing to lend to NUFC as a long term concern. I doubt many of you understand the above but in short it was a recipe for disaster. Wow.. you are sad, aren't you? Someone compared Danny to an STD... I was thinking Herpes. He is slightly irritating all the time but once a month he flares up and becomes unbearable.
-
This sort of rage can't be good for the ol' ticker, surely! Kinnear will be the first manager in recent NUFC history who didn't get the sack but instead died in front of the cameras in an interview...
-
I agree with the man... all good points.
-
Thanks Tom!

Could someone please post it? I am at work and the firewall has zoo blocked off...

I was thinking the same thing... that might be good news (if we can survive until then)
