Apparently Nevada Smith's in New York is crawling with toon fans when our games are on. I have heard that as well and there have been pics from the NUFC Supporters Club here in the US but unfortunately for me I am in Florida. I tried to start something in the past... even had the website domain name of NUFC.US to get something going but not enough interest in my part of the country to continue it on, unfortunately.

I really wish that there were more Newcastle Supporters in my area. It would be nice to watch the match with a bigger group of supporters of the same team. But then again, I really do enjoy the match with the three Geordies that do come out.

Just finished watching the Given interview on the BBC. I haven't been able to see too many in depth interviews (longer than 45 seconds) with Given but does he always do that long inhale/noise??? If I was only listening to that I would have thought he was smoking a hukkah...

I hope your 'IMO' turns out to be true that we're not 'down' but nailed to the bottom 5 - 6. I've been very lucky for the past 2 seasons having seen every Newcastle league game plus some cup games via the Fox Soccer Channel and the Setanta channel be it LIVE(mostly live) taped-delay or repeat. If we go down it's all over, FSC does not show Champions league games and Stanta usually one a week and you know that won't be us every week. This worries me as well... and the local pub will certainly go out of business with my lack of patronage if this happens... I hope that if we do go down, pompey goes down as well as I don't want to hear it from my soon to be in-laws.... what a horrible wedding reception that would be.

I'm not trying to take the mick, but what could the supporters do over the summer that would be more of an impact than during the season???
