I'm telling you that I've never done it whilst typing to Fish.
-
You didn't pose any. You basically just scratched your own bollocks and sniffed your fingers.
-
Quite simple. Any fans who stayed away because of that and waited for the day they left would have flocked back on the Ashley bandwagon with Keegan and what not. Even happy to lose Allardyce for the messiah. The game changes and those fans are now back to professing their undying love for the club that they've supported through thick and thin, until Ashley makes a mess of it, then back to square one. That's the point.
-
You're just babbling for the sake of it now.
-
Hall and Shepherd basically did just that with the fans and the lasses. Think about it.
-
Well that's basically it. What determines a plastic though?
-
If a person refuses to go to a game after initially being a fan just because an owner comes in who they don't like, then think about it this way. How long has Ashley been in charge of the club? Now imagine a so called supporter/fan staying away because of Ashley. A true supporter/fan? A plastic? Or a conditional supporter? You're either a fan and supporter of the CLUB unconditionally or you're not. Simple as that. It shouldn't hinge on personnel.
-
I'm not interested whether you are anonymous or not. It makes no difference to me. You're getting told regardless. It's not all one way you know. You can't have it all your own way with all people.
-
I'm saying that any supporter who supports a club with conditions attached is not a unconditional supporter. Pretty self explanatory to be fair. You also get people professing to be fans who are basically plastics or fair weather supporters/fans. You know, stuff like that.
-
You appear to be jammed so far up your own arse and can't stop rolling rolling rolling. I'm typing on a football forum to someone called Fish. that's it. Are you anything more special? Do you have hangers on that will give their UNCONDITIONAL love for you?
-
Of course you're at a loose end. You're bored and you can play with wolfy for a bit. I know, I know, I know. My opinions are worth lots to me and your opinions are worthless. Same thing really because your opinions are worth the world to you. See how it works?
-
My arrogance is my stance against your arrogance. Tit for tat and you don't like it. Chill out or you'll end up damping down.
-
Calm down fluffy. Rankle us? You people do this for fun for those that you can get to bite. The problem you have is, you came up against someone who doesn't suffer your crap and you're getting frustrated. Cry all you want. Go and tell the teacher.

A person who decides when to support a club dependent on conditions is a plastic. They may not have been beforehand but to me, this is a bandwagon jumping issue more than anything else. Trooper is weakening, most probably due to peer pressure of other plastics. Either support your club through thick and thin or don't. If you decide not to for reasons of people running it or working within it, then you are a conditional supporter. Look past it all and simply support your CLUB because it's the club that stays a club even after the vacation of personnel throughout the years. This makes you an unconditional supporter. That's basically it. Feel free to argue it but the stance stays the same.
-
I'm me and I've just made it.
-
Understand what unconditional and conditional means and get back to me Mr twister bollocks.
-
It makes you a conditional fan if you choose not to go. You cannot claim to be a thick and thin supporter from this point on if you decide not to support your club because of personnel, no matter who they are. Simple as that. You may not have been anything other than a true fan/supporter from 1974 up until present. If you now choose to alter that unconditional stance then you will be known as the fan who used to support the club through thick and thin and all the rest of it. Now, you are about to turn into a bit of a plastic, so make your choice.
-
I never said they were. I mentioned conditional and unconditional support. It has nothing to do with any fan living anywhere who cannot make games, whether scarcely or at all. It's to do with fans who CAN and DO support the club but who decide not to support the club until such and such changes or ( in this case) Ashley vacates. Which is exactly what I'm talking about in terms of fans being conditional. Then he's not a fan. Absolutely not.
-
It's only what many of you people do, so it's hardly a new thing to people like yourself, is it?
-
If you intend being a Newcastle United fan/supporter for the rest of your life then you are doing it unconditionally. If, like you mention, that you will give it a rest until Ashley goes, it means you are supporting the club with conditions attached. You're quite entitled to do that of course but when things pick up and good times come, I just hope you aren't one of those that pipe up with, " aye, I was there through thick and thin and stayed loyal despite some really bad times under different owners." Because the truth would be entirely different and basically makes you a plastic fan to be fair. I hope what I'm saying to you will dissuade you from taking that path of the plastic fan and you remain true to the club as a fan/supporter.
-
Fans can do and be whatever they like as regards their club. All I'm basically saying is, picking and choosing when and when not to be a fan or supporter makes that particular fan a conditional fan/supporter. Those fans that do not have any conditions attached to their support in terms of the personnel at the club are 100% true unconditional fans/supporters. It's a whole lot different than using the analogy of having to unconditionally support a friend who commits a heinous crime in terms of what I'm saying about the club ans an entirety.
-
Then cease and desist and stop whining. Every fan has a right to moan and nobody is saying you have to blindly accept anything. Like I said, your choice is to be unconditional in being a supporter and fan or you attach conditions to being one. And how do you protect the future of a club by setting aside your desire to watch? Course it's not wrong. Every fan has a right to moan if they're supporting their club. However, being a supporter who then decides not to support the club until the weather fairs up, is not a unconditional fan/supporter. Quite simple really.
-
How many fans can say they've been a fan of a club throughout the years, seeing many different owners, good bad and indifferent? True fans. Fans that have no conditions to their fanatical support. Unconditional fans. Not fair weather one's.
-
A true fan will stay a true fan without conditions. A fan throughout the good the bad and the ugly, always. Unconditional love for the club. A fair weather fan attaches conditions to their loyalty with some making club personnel scapegoats fort their fall into a diluted fan state. Does anyone read Wolfies posts?

It's all a waiting game. All buying teams can see the quality they're buying and many fans of those teams will be excited and optimistic that they will produce. We know that the percentage of buys of quality will fail to produce anything like they promise, due to many reasons. We are no exception to this but I'm optimistic that what we've bough are good enough to do a good enough job for us. That's basically it. As for buying gems and leading to relegation... again, it's down to how they are coached and how they fir into a system or area. Few clubs learn and that includes those playing at the top. It goes tits up for them all in all kinds of ways. We suffer relegations and such like, as do many clubs over the course of a decade and yet the money bags clubs suffer their own destructions and have to basically start again. man Utd being one of then under Ferguson.
