So much negativity. I understand we are huge underdogs and Man City has beaten us idk how many games, but we have to be optimistic. Hope we can sneak away with a win here and give our players confidence to do something special this season. WE HAVE TO BELIEVE!!!

With the additions of remy and Gomis it makes me feel better about the upcoming season I would love if we played Krul Santon Mbiwa collo debuchy Cabaye Sissoko Remy Arfa Goufrann Cisse/Gomis Will most likely play Krul Santon Mbiwa collo debuchy Remy cabaye sissoko arfa Cisse Gomis
-
Krul Santon Mbiwa Collocini Debuchy Marveaux Sissoko Cabaye Arfa Cisse Goufrann This is idiotic I don't understand this move. Why would you play 2 strikers if we don't have 2 and even if we brought in another striker we need to play with possession ball not chuck the ball up front and hope our striker gets it.
-
we need a winger for sure we dont have any true wingers. Granted I like Goufrann on the left he is hard working and helps on defense which is good because Santon goes up a lot. Ben Arfa to me should be utilize as a #10. But hey im just a fan in not there day in and day out so what do i know lol

We need a striker but Remy I don't know about this at all. As everyone here has stated the rape charge and snubbing us for more money are hard to look past but I think more importantly it sends the wrong message. We are the laughing stock of the league right now and bringing in players that don't want to be here cause we are desperate makes us look bad it's bad for future business and it bad for the locker room it makes players do things such as (say they don't want to play cause of a sponser but then get caught at a casino smh). We need players that want to play for us believe in the team and want to bring trophies to Newcastle. I honestly rather lose with players who really work their ass off for this club then win with players with horrible mentalities that tarnish the club name and legacy

Newcastle United v Pacos de Ferreira

It was pretty disappointing to see a lot of the same bad habits from last season but its still just a pre season game lets not all panic just yet. There were positives to take from the game such as Goufrann Vucic and players hopefully getting fit and playing form. We 2 strikers that for sure and some depth in the back. Krul Santon Mbiwa Collocini Debuchy Cabaye Sissoko Goufrann Arfa Marveaux (Future Stiker ?) This to me is ideal it allows everyone to be in most ideal position to get the most out of every player. Tiote shoud not see the field until he proves himself and earns playing time. -
1. Ok so far we have gotten rid of Harper Simpson perch and gosling looks close to leaving and brought in no one 2. Apparently striker was a huge need and we still haven't made a deal for any and even tho we are linked to Gomis and Bent we are apparently going to sell cisse seems pretty counter productive 3. We have other needs on the team such as left winger another CB some depth and we haven't made any offers to any players Hmmmm sounds about right Got to keep the faith and hope players return to form and young players ie Vuckic shows good ability or we might be in for another long year

I argee with this formation its the best way to get the most out of the players we have. I love the 4-2-3-1 lineup but i believe we need a true #10 to implement it perfectly. Even though i think Cabaye could be that for us he prefers to come from further back. EDIT i would start M'Biwa over Taylor

I am Ecuadorian so i follow most Ecuadorian players careers. Montero is the best player we have in my opinion. While Valencia gets most of the attention playing for Man U most Ecuadorians will tell you Montero is the catalyst that makes us go. He only has a 3.5 mil release clause and hes 23 that would be a good piece of business in my opinion. As for the other players it seems Ince and Bony are signing with Cardiff and Swansea respectively so im not sure what striker they are looking for but it looks like they have placed a 18mil bid for Aubameyang which was rejected but we are still in talks this shows that we are finally actually trying to get players this summer

Leaves Club Gosling Sh. Ameobi Abied Amalfitano Harper Simpson Williamson Obertan Loaned Out Good Sammy Ameobi Newton Dummet Ferguson Inman Buy Wilfred Bony (striker) Jefferson Montero (left winger) Tom Ince (Winger) Defensive Player (Right Back) Starting Line Up Krul Debuchy Coloccini Mbiwa Santon Cabaye Tiote/Sissoko (Dependng who shows better form) Ince Arfa Montero Cisse/Bony (Depending who shows better form) Bench Elliot- GK Anita- CM Goufrann- LW/RW/ST Marveaux- LM/RM S. Taylor- CB Haidara- LB RB we sign- RB Perch- Everything lol Gutierrez- Everything As Well lol Bigirimana- CM/CDM Sissoko/Tiote (who ever doesnt start) Cisse/Bony (who ever doesnt start) Vuckic- ST Campbell- ST This i think would be the perfect offseason for us. We get rid of some fringe players that never really panned out. In the process we buy just 4 players which i see as realistic. We fill the holes we had and add some pretty good depth to the squad. The ideal starting lineup we have gives Newcastle a lot of pace and creativity which we have been lacking, but we also have some nice players on the bench that gives us good diversity.

RW...Jefferson Montero 4-5mil Wigan has placed a bid in January for him of about 3mil i think and it got rejected they know what he is and can become especially because they had Valencia a few years back. We need to get this kid to Newcastle ASAP

I disagree a good leader earns the respect of the coaching staff/ players/ and fans. A good leader has complete control of his team no questions. A good leader can lead through good times and bad. This season we have had a lot of injuries and players have not been up to form but Pardew has not handled that well at all. he has crumbled under the pressure of this hard season and is making questionable decisions week in and week out. Finally a good leader can help mold leaders and i would love to see Cabaye take that role he needs to step up. We need a new face that takes this role of coach/leader and proves to everyone its his period that no one should ever doubt his decisions. watch this quick video to see a glimpse of a great leader in sports http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-player-interviews/09000d5d825f9593/Sunday-Sitdown-preview-Ray-Lewis

We need 3 things this summer 1. LEADERSHIP- That's at all levels. Mike Ashley need to get behind his team and allow us to spend i'm not talking about Bale money but a decent amount. He should look at it like an investment you got to spend money to make money. Alan Pardew needs to go i'm sorry but that's my opinion he lost the locker room and has too many questionable decisions its time to bring someone that can bring out the most out of our players. someone that the players want to play for. The players need to step up and get hungry they totally gave up against Liverpool and that's disgraceful have pride in what you do and Cabaye needs to take this team and make it his. Finally the fans we need to stop all this non-sense of fighting and going crazy after losses what kinda of non sense is this we need to get behind our team and show the Epl, Europe and the World that we are a world class club with world class fans. 2. FiITNESS- This is huge need my goodness no type of stamina its ridiculous. We either play really hard the first half and die out the second half or play soft the first half and then play hard in the second half. I want to see this team out run teams for 90 min. Dortmund is what we should model ourselves after. They are always running always attacking always defending its a beautiful thing to see if we could play at a high level constantly we could win some games on that alone. It also helps prevent injuries and help players recover from injuries quicker. 3. EXPAND- Time to expand the Newcastle United brand. Need to open up the market worldwide. Not just Europe especially just France. There are players from all around the world that would help bring this team to higher levels and my first choice is Jefferson Montero great tenacity fitness level and heart. He plays in a stadium that its 2 miles high that's thin air and plays at a high level. We need players that play hard from all around i would love some home grown players as well. My sales pitch to players would be this is a club with history and passion. It might not have the history of some of the giants such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, Bayer Munich but every story begins somewhere. You can be the beginning of a legacy that lasts hundreds of years. One day fans can look back and say it all began in 2013 with this amazing team that started the foundation for greatness. NEWCASTLE UNITED FOR LIFE!!!!!

The reason South American players are so expensive is because they are purchased by EPL teams after they become establish players such as Antonio Valencia, Luis Suarez, Sergio Aguero. If we scouted in South America to begin with we could get those quality players when they are young and relatively unknown. Most importantly it would be cheap. Besides Brazil which any player that comes out of there is super expensive cause Brazil will always be known as a super power in the soccer world so any player that flashes potential will be over priced the rest of South America in my opinion is up for the taking. As i said before we need to expand our market world wide. We can get quality players and expand the Newcastle United name
-
Thats a shame that we wont expand to that market. While i understand the need and want to train and bring up home grown players, the diversity in teams is what makes this game amazing. We are little France and have signed great talent but we cant ignore the world wide market that just doesn't make since. Look at all the top clubs Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG, The Manchesters ect. they have players from Europe, Africa, South America basically everywhere around the world. Hopefully we can start to diversify a little more and slowly but surely become a top club that I know Newcastle United can be. We are a few players away from becoming a top 4 club and from playing champions league soccer the road to trophies and greatness needs to begin now and it starts with this youngster named Jefferson Montero
-
Jefferson Montero!!! youtube, google, bing, do whatever you need to do to look this kid up. He is an Ecuadorian international who plays in Mexico. He plays LW but can play either side and in the middle. Has great pace and vision to pick out the pass but has an eye for the goal and finishes with class. He is the young version of Valencia but can play with both feet. He will be better than Valencia. I know that this will most likely never happen but this would be an amazing pick up and would most likely be very cheap. Ive been watching him in the world cup qualifiers and he has been making defenders look silly. Just recently he scored 2 goals and had an assist against Paraguay. He could of had a lot more if it wasnt for some unlikey ball bounces and team mates not being able to finish. Spread the word lets get the kid.

with the possible departure of Demba Ba i was thinking why not bring in Dempsey he is capable of playing almost any position up front which would be very valuable for Newcastle and his tenacity and heart he brings will help will this team to continue on what was a pretty successful year and hopefully get us to the champions league...What do you guys think>
