  1. I think a lot of people compare it to mens football which is an unfair comparison. You wouldn’t expect a woman to beat Usain Bolt in a race for example. Enjoy it for what it is and it’s good fun imo
  2. I don’t profess to know a single thing about politics but am generally a labour voter. Im outraged at the general standard of politicians in this country really. Any other line of work and these fuckers would be in the dole queue. I will be voting to remove the tories rather than voting for labour at this point but they have had 12 years and not got one single thing correct so, although Starmer isn’t my cup of tea he represents the best option to me at the moment.
  3. Been really impressed with the standard, less tribal, more inclusive, less diving and moaning. Goalkeeping is shite, but I think they are sold a pup playing in full size goals. Honestly think it would get better with smaller pitches too, but generally really enjoyed it.
  4. We get this seasons tv money as a lumper now rather than over the season/at the end of the season. The bank take the instalments. Hopefully just in time for new sponsorships to come in as we are in the champions league

  6. Haha this bit is mental! Where did you get this idea from?
  7. He may be frustrating but was our second top scorer and top assist maker last season (I think, happy to be proved wrong). I would like to keep him, get someone on the other side who can do similar and see how he gets on when he isn’t being doubled up on every game. Replacing him with those 3 I probably wouldn’t be sad to see him go, but that’s all pie in the sky at the moment isn’t it? Especially as the whole conversation started with Polarboy waving a magic wand. If we are limited by FFP how is selling one player to buy three going to help?
  8. We currently have 1 good premier league level winger. Your preference is to sell him, replace him with another winger and then play other people out of position on the other side? Seems sensible, but I would rather buy a winger to play the other side so we have 2 decent wingers.
  9. We would still be short a right winger though?
  10. Yeah I’m fine cheers. Correct, it is a footy message board. Not arguing either, you asked me a question I had already answered mate haha
  11. Literally says in my post, “if Howe wants rid then fair enough, he’s earned the right”. Not sure how clearer I can make it if I’m honest mush
  12. He could also, and I’m not claiming to be ITK, be a thick cunt and just shot his car wherever is free. If Howe wants rid then fair enough he’s earned the right, but Max is still one of our best players in my eyes and it would be mad to jettison him at the point we are adding better players to play with into the team
  13. If we are after Harrison, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him play on the right hand side tbh. Mainly left footed I think so could do the cutting in thing that most modern wingers seem to do. That way we could keep Max and he can keep parking wrong
  14. Where has this thing about Max acting the cunt come from? It’s fine to not like him as a player, he is quite frustrating but the only quotes we have had out the club this summer are Eddie Howe saying he’s worked hard, had a good preseason and is happy
  15. Never seen him play but he’s mint on football manager. Big lad as well, about 6’4”
  16. Team sit and lean here tbf so take my name out ya mouth
  17. Nah. But they should be supplying equipment needed to do your job safely at home. Generally speaking people working from home are office workers so the risk of injury is low and the equipment would mainly be IT/DSE stuff, although we have had to arrange sit stand desks amongst other things at peoples houses because they had one at the office for bad backs etc. May be different if you had welders/joiners/bricklayers working from home for example, but I doubt they would be very productive.
  18. What Craig said, but at least in the UK there is no maximum (or minimum) temperature specified for workplaces. The legislation uses the term “reasonable” and then it’s up to the specific company to justify their management of it, usually depending on the type of work done there and other mitigating factors. Not sure if legislation is different in NZ though
  19. They are if you are working from home. You should be treated the same as any other distant/mobile worker
  20. Aye but youse have pools and that. We have fat pasty lad and lasses walking round with not enough clothes on, sweating everywhere.
  21. Ere, you lads know there is nonsense and bot accounts on Twitter thought right?
