Metabolism definitely slows as you age mind, I never had to think about it at all. Im 40 in 18 months, so want to be back at my normal weight before that and then hope to maintain!

Thanks mate. I can see it being a nightmare both ways really, putting on weight must be tough if you are wired that way. Calorie counting down to about 88kg which is about right for my frame and height I think

Also there is nothing wrong with for example, Diaby coming in, taking Almirons first choice spot and Almiron becoming the first sub or rotation option for games against weaker teams. It’s how squads and teams get better over a length of time.

Despite everyone being in great form, they are all replaceable by better players imo. Longstaff, almiron, asm, willock, burn, fab, even joelinton. There is a point when these players become the squad players to better players, or leave.

I’ve been ill since November. Had the flu, caused sinusitis, got over that, go to my mams for xmas and my fucking brother gives me the flu again. Like the fucking warrior I am I still did the full dinner on my tod, had a number of large baileys and fell asleep at 3.45pm. Got a houseful coming round today (first xmas without my dad), I feel like after my heroics yesterday I should be entitled to fuck everyone off and watch the football in silence on my own
