  1. Brothers funeral today, liver is going to take a beating worse than Arsenal later
  2. I’m on my first automatic ever with my Q5 and I will never be going back to manual. Mugs game changing your own gears
  3. I’ve lived and worked in london for a few years previously. If me and the missus go now, we stay in Richmond and get the train into central, much more civilised and relaxed.
  4. A lot will depend on which referee liverpool decide to play against us imo
  5. Actually, taken offence to this. The UK is one of the safest places to work in the world, because of the health and safety legislation in place and the well trained and professional experts in the field. If work is slow is because of health and safety it probably means the work shouldn’t be done or the budget is too low. I personally wouldn’t dare to say to the pharmaceutical industry is doing something wrong because, I know nowt. Ring a bell?
  6. Incorrect, it takes decades because of poor workmanship (your problem for not vetting your contractors). Or it takes ages to get through planning, due to Tory cuts to planning departments. Like I said (and construction professionals agreed) GOOD H&S makes construction quicker, bad H&S I have no idea about cos I’m good at my job.
  7. Outclassed Arteta tonight, totally out-thought him and it was amazing. They didn’t have a clue, first half sub of whoever their winger is was a massive clue Arteta shit the bed. Again
  8. Honestly thought it was a cock going into an arsehole personally
  9. Hope the crowd is fucking raucous and not nervous. We’ve beat this loudmouth cunts twice already we can do it again
  10. Point of order. Good health and safety doesn’t slow down construction, it speeds up it through proper planning.
  11. This thread is further proof of the dead internet theory
  12. If there’s a report of a withered man found wandering around south Manchester with his cock in his hand soon, yeah she’s in it.
  13. Sorry for your sight loss, must be tough
  14. The lass whose house they are using has only confirmed James Nesbitt, not my type but it takes all sorts.
  15. You know those shite Harlen Coben books they are making into tv shows for bored housewives? They are filming one on our street this week, place is full of “production” people. It’s all mildly exciting
  16. Going out on a limb here but maybe they are waiting until we are a regular qualifier for European competition before they announce sponships, so that the value can be higher than if we weren’t? Mind blowing I know.
  17. Fair enough. Theres a dearth of teams who could afford him imo. Italy - Maybe Napoli France - PSG, currently playing without a proper striker Germany - Bayern, Harry Kane Spain - Real, Mbappe. Barca, broke England - City, Haaland. Liverpool, too many forwards as is but maybe if Salah left. Chelsea, sideways step. Man Utd, won’t be in the champions league. Spurs, ditto. In my view that leaves arsenal, the fact they bid for Watkins instead of even trying for him this month suggests to me they don’t think they could afford him either.
  18. £50 to SBR foundation says he isn’t
  19. Rosemary? Like traditional clay tiles? Depends on loads of stuff, they can easily last a lot longer. If you have a roofer you trust just ask them to have a look for you, it’s easier to know it might need doing in a couple of years than having it fail unexpectedly. Our house was built in 1901, and it needed a whole new roof when we bought it 4 years ago.
  20. Tiles in general last about 100 years (as long as the sub structure is solid). If they have been taken out of production for whatever reason there is very likely to be a replica on the market.
  21. Man City being shit all season and knocking Madrid out would be pretty funny
  22. Jordan Henderson has gone on strike again to push through a free transfer to Monaco, got to protect that Saudi cash somehow.
  23. Location is absolutely key. There isn’t a stadium in the country in a better location than ours. The obvious comparison is Man City, I’ve been in Manchester for 10 years now and I’ve seen the redevelopment around the area. I’ve been in the home and away end at their new stadium. Ultimately, they have thrown hundreds of millions at it, it’s impressive facilities but it’s a dump. It’s at the arse end of “new Islington” (where I had a flat) which before the stadium had been a horror show unless you were going to sankeys for a couple of pills. The lower capacity, if redesigned well could incorporate more corporate seats (where the real money is), at minimal loss/or increase of normal seating for the regulars, increase the commercial income from extras like drink/food, keep the demand high so we don’t end up with an “emptihad” situation which kills the atmosphere and most importantly keeps us city centre. Could be chatting shit though, I haven’t seen the feasibility reports.
  24. I imagine by bubble wrap they mean like around the Allianz in Munich, it was class when I was there tbf. But I was on the 3rd tier and I couldn’t see shit
