  1. Which keepers don't start getting a game until their mid twenties? Hart, Valdez, de Gea, loris, given, ter stegan, courtois, neuer all playing regularly by 25, as was Krul
  2. Darlow just turned 25, has had one season (I think) as a first team regular. Getting dropped last season after oddly not "commanding" his box enough when dealing with crosses. Krul missing is a massive blow whichever way you look at it.
  3. Should the keeper position himself 6 yards out for all free kicks or just the one you remember us conceding from? If goalkeeping is as easy as being six yards out and getting to the ball before the attacker, why don't games always end 0-0? I can't be arsed to go into all the reasons you are wrong, but believe me, you are, regularly and spectacularly.
  4. World class goalkeepers like De Gea can make a massive difference despite playing in a bad team. Good goalkeepers rely on their team as much as their team relies on them. Krul is a good goalkeeper, admittedly not playing at his best, in a bad team. People always talk about confidence for strikers, the same is even more applicable to goalkeepers tbh, one small mistake that an outfielder player would get away with will probably lead to a goal being conceded if made by a goalkeeper.
  5. Didn't it come out yesterday that the NHS is running a billion pound deficit? Coincidentally the day after the Tory conferefence finished?
  6. Yeah a relatively untried keeper who hasn't played in the prem or Rob Elliot. Definitely couldn't do worse than an experienced international goalkeeper.

    Fifa 16

I got this last week for my xboxone. Played last years after a break since probably 98. I got Pogba in one of my free packs so sold him and have built basically the Barca team, minus Iniesta, Messi, Suarez and Neymar. I have never played a game online (haven't played any of my Xbox games online tbh) but if any of you fancy a game/battering me, PM me and I will try and add you if I can figure it out.
  9. Canny mood today. First decent nights sleep since we got the puppy. She is alternating between an angel and a terror but if I can get some kip it all seems a lot easier.
  10. Been home a couple of hours. She was a saint in the car for nearly 2 hours. Got home, went mental, fed, pissed, shat. Is now asleep in her "crate" (apparently they aren't cages according to our lass). Think I have just signed my free time away by choice..
  11. There is a photo incoming that shows a crashed as fuck mini digger/smashed in house isn't there?
  12. What kind of hardcore is under your patio like? Any I have laid have been on a dry sand & cement base on level earth. Got a feeling its the waste from building your house that the builders couldn't be arsed tipping, good luck digging that up mate. Actually use a pick axe..
  13. I don't want you to take this the wrong way because everyone is entitled to their opinions and football is a game of opinions etc but, and I cannot stress this enough. I have forgotten more about goalkeeping than you will ever know. It wasn't a goalkeeping error. Sunderland.
  14. Krul cannot be blamed for the second goal in anyway. The first could have been closed down faster but was a proper belter. So in conclusion, they are all COWARDS and I hate them!! Sunderland.
  15. Agreed. But you have seen it yourself, with the season we finished 5th and the other weird runs where we win 5/6 on the bounce then lose 10 on the bounce or whatever. That wasn't really because Pardew was making big or small changes to the system every week, because he wasn't. The most successful teams have a system that they usually stick to (Chelsea, Arsenal even Barcelona) I think McLaren is going to stick to this system as he sees it as a longer term issue than most supporters who by no fault of their own are more short term. Any runs for us usually started with a lucky goal/win, which improves the confidence and mood in the team and goes from there. Its all ifs and buts, but if we scored that last minute winner at Man Utd then the whole view of the season would be different imo. Very small margins at this level, whether that's a bit of good or bad luck or players who are confident.
  16. Confidence is a massive issue in football, the same player can look 10 times better when he is confident in not only himself but his team mates. I think this is the main problem we are having/have had for ages. Where this confidence comes from is why certain managers make millions and not easy to fake.
  17. Aye but you only post when everything is bad forever and always I.D.S.T
  18. Got a couple more photos from the breeder, pick her up next Wednesday.
  19. It would be pretty funny if it wasn't so bad like. It wasn't even their first choice team.. Hopefully Liverpool go out and we will get forgotten about in the press shitshorm tomorrow.
  20. I dunno mate, even funnier if they couldn't tbh. I know Williamson has played circa 150 games for us, more than Les Ferdinand, Tino Asprilla, David Batty and David Ginola for example. Its not good enough.
  21. Canny, a suspension or injury away from Williamson starting 5 years after we bought him, in the Championship, from mighty Portsmouth, who despite being shite never played him in the year he was there.
  22. Aye congrats on the bairn mate. Trolls with no charm are no fun.
  23. Just watched the new South Park, very good.
