Foreign leagues move games to help their teams progress, we move games to make Sky happy with fuck all regard given to European performance. Other leagues teams prioritise cup competitions as they have a chance of winning them, whereas they don't usually have a chance of winning the league (Spain, Germany and Italy are becoming monopolies). English teams prioritise finishing in the top four because of the money it brings, fucking Man Utd sat out a cup competition all together a few years back! There is also a lack of good scouting and coaching in England with regards to necessary evils of the game that are required to do well in Europe, taking the ball to the corner, tactical fouls, even as simple as good defending and staying in games to give yourself a chance.

In probably the most awkward situation of my life ATM. Me and our lass broke up 2 months after signing a 12 month lease on a rented house. Currently sleeping in the spare room on a fucking futon while she sleeps on our brand new kingsize bed in the other room. Weirdest thing is she has been nicer to me in the last couple of weeks than she has in a year or so. Been running round like a blue arsed fly to sort myself a mortgage the last week or so, had it agreed in principle today, got 5 viewings lined up for the next few days. Hopefully one comes off soon, I need out of here. How long does it take getting all the paperwork done for buying your first house?

Like I said before I have no in depth knowledge of the ins and outs, in fact I am ignorant in them so I will keep my council. (Think there is a saying about keeping schtum if you know nowt?) I am 31 I had cancer, the NHS were fucking brilliant and saved my life, I didn't wait for anything and within 4 weeks had had my operation and my fist session of chemo (this was Salford Royal and The Christie). My brother had a brain haemorrage at 30 he was in ICU and HDU for 6 months at James Cook in boro, initially we didn't think he would live though the night. I lived in Leeds at the time and my parents in Spain, I drove up as soon as I heard and was allowed to sit with him prior to his operation and afterwards until the the next morning when my parents arrived and we were all allowed total access to him. The doctors, nurses and other staff were all amazing with us. They told us straight what the odds were, what was likely to happen, they did it with professionalism but with a human touch that made us believe they cared. They shared tea and coffee with us through his pneumonia, they discussed his progress, they were councillors as well as carers and physicians. I quite literally owe my life and my brothers to the men and women of he NHS. Fuck anyone who point scores or deprives the NHS of what they need to provide the fantastic service they do.

Mate, I went travelling around North Africa on my own when I was in my early 20's. Apart from the regular shits from the street food I loved it. I would have no hesitation doing it again just a bit worried I would look like a sex tourist in Cuba on me own, pasty, straw hat, smoking a cigar and drinking all the rum in the country (also viewing a new building tomorrow somI might be skint)

The fucking people who work in and have experience of the NHS.. Doctors and NHS staff are massively undervalued and we won't know what we have until it's gone. Absolute fucking cretin.

Yeah we aren't married, don't own a house, she doesn't drive etc. I don't expect her to pay for my car insurance just like I wouldn't expect to pay for her haircuts. We have rent, bills and dog expenses that we each pay half of into a joint account that we got for that purpose. The rest of the money we each earn we can spend on whatever the fuck we like, although I always pay if we eat out or cinema etc as I earn more.
