...y'know, I am actually starting to wonder if we're at least trying to make this happen.

CT - Gotta say for yours as well actually, awesome theme. Did you buy it like that or "build" it yourself?
-
Awesome tank... Good lighting too. I'd be well chuffed with that!

I guess you get what you pay for then with forum packages. Still, the whole TT layout looks really professional, kudos. Also prefer the smaller community and less uptight modding on TT compared to NO. Never registered with NO but looked in a few times. Although the worst one I've ever seen for pathetic modding is RAWK. I cringe every time I look in there, people being banned for citing news sources that haven't been pre-agreed by a committee etc.

Yeah but... and replace him with who? Colo and YMB are, by consensus, too similar; and that leaves Taylor. Who I reckon might be more of a liability than Williamson.

Thanks, that's sated my curiosity. And you've done a really good job with the place to be honest. I recognise that old Invision board layout from the first link, it's the one I'm more familiar with (it's been a few years since I was last on a forum before this one). The place has a really high quality look to it compared to most other fan forums though (and certainly is a better layout that NO - phpbb?). Although I'm biased because I hate non Invision boards..!

Ok, bit of a nosey question to the longer standing members. I was having a look the the Mod Team link on the main page and noted the Admin 'Jimbo'. He hasn't been online for 2 and a half years apparently, which is unusual in my experience for forum admins (if they quit, they usually 'resign'). Unless TT has a lifetime membership policy for the Mod Team anyway. Just wondered if there was anything of interest behind that - I should mention that I find forums very interesting due to the extended community histories that can build up. Also, and I can't stress this enough, I'm really nosey.

I don't really understand how Liverpool failed to beat Villa tbh. I know they came back and all but this is Villa. They should be beating them 3 or 4 nil.
-
I wonder if it's all to do with perception (possibly massively oversimplifying it though). If we were of the same status as Man City, playing as well as we were, the other teams wouldn't come out in the second half like they tend to against us currently, it'd be more measured and cautious. Because teams kind of feel like they should be beating us, they have that belief. I'd also argue that this is why the floor at Old Trafford gave way this season. Other teams aren't expecting to lose.

What the fuck is going on at Anfield. "Title Challengers"
-
You must be pleased anyway! Fantastic result, that.
-
Who on earth is in charge of Bolton? You'd think it was Allardyce...
-
Yeah! I think that really made the difference this time. I could feel it.
-
Our next two games look eminently winnable as well.
-
Due to their respective cup runs, Sunderland now have 4 games in the next ten days; the final one against us
-
For once we're not part of it.
-
Wise words, in fairness.
-
Well they lost in the end, although not that badly. Still nice to see them bottom though.
-
I might be wrong, but looking at that display I'm not convinced Pardew changed anything - I think as a team we lack composure once they came at us in the second half, and our front players start firing from ridiculous positions to relieve pressure (through scoring); that then loses possession. He can tell them not to I suppose but they do put them in occasionally. I doubt Pardew does tell them to do it differently, I wonder if his subs react to what the team is doing (i.e. Shola one once it was clear that midfield wasn't going to play a significant part any longer).
-
On occasion, it'd be nice to experience!! Great win though.
-
Never easy though, is it?
-
FUCK YEAH!!!
-
Why are we shooting from so far away?? I swear this has almost as negative an effect as Pardew setting us up to defend 2 goal leads.

There we go, Ben Arfa.
