I never like to rule anything out! You never know with some of the weirdos on here...
-
Is this a fantasy..? Class, if true; coulda been a Carry On script.

What the actual fuck is that dress

Annoyingly at least one of those was against us. I think we lost 2-1 to two Bale wondergoals in the dying stages, or something to that effect... But you're right, he carried them massively.
-
Yeah... Spurs really fucked up the Bale sale - that was a key moment for them and it looks like they bought a load of total rubbish OR bought players who needed to gel under an intricately designed system which they then fired the architect of. Waste of space team, no hope of CL next year on this evidence. No point either, they wouldn't get out of qualifying on this showing.

The January thread became an ironic parody of itself.
-
The lack of coverage we got really pissed me off actually - we put in a much better showing against Benfica than Spurs are as well.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Rayvin replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
The players were a disgrace like, but the whole circus in general was Ashley's doing. It was board level incompetence that put us in the position we were in.- 10610 replies

Joe Kinnear had a fair hand in it... I'm not certain anyone could have saved us that season.- 10610 replies

That would be utterly bizarre. And an amazing story. Future movie based on it if true.

He's definitely better than Taylor...
-
Was actually starting to worry someone else might do it...

Would take Shawcross for definite. But can't see it, Stoke would want £10m+ I'm sure, and we'd never go there for a defender.
-
Fulham are beyond awful though...

He's a national icon, I guess that counts for something. There's 'you and me' justice, and then there's celebrity justice. Saying that, I remain unconvinced by this. Although it'd be utterly sensational (in the pejorative) if he was let off.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Rayvin replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
I actually wondered if it might give us a window into how much of an affect Pardew actually has. If we keep winning without his highly motivational team talks, touchline instructions, then he's probably not all that important. Unless he works his magic in training. If results suddenly drop off a cliff then maybe he does achieve something. I know there's other factors at play, but still...- 10610 replies

I thought he was guilty as sin but I have to say that I'm starting to wonder... crying in court and everything, that's actually quite hard to pull off if you aren't trained isn't it? I can't cry on cue. I guess he could be upset at everything that has happened though...
-
Same about the re-reading. And we were all going on about how much of a bargain he'd be, and even the possibility that he'd choose another club. Makes you think about how far we've come in the last 3-4 years actually.
-
Seriously, how have they NOT found this plane yet? I reckon something Parky-esque probably has happened to it to be honest...

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Rayvin replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
It's either going to be worse than the papers are saying, or not as bad. The FA tend to make a point of acting in a totally contradictory fashion to the public clamouring, probably in an attempt to assert some authority, knowing no one can do anything about it. And then not explaining the decision in any way. 4 or 5 games or 15, I think.- 10610 replies

Serious question...kinda... If Russia decided to launch a 'warning' Nuke at Newcastle, and wiped us off the map. Would that trigger nuclear war? I'm not 100% sure it would. London would be terrified of being nuked, and despite all the posturing, they might not let it escalate. Or do we reckon that all bets would be off and nukes would be flying everywhere? I'm in a whimsical mood, humour me.

If this puts them under it's no less than they deserve. Everyone and their dog said this would happen when they started panic buying. 'Course, they could just pump more money in I suppose.

Although she was working in the US office mind - would have been braver had she been in Moscow. Fair enough though, as you say.

Yeah I dunno actually - forging relationships with political figures can be helpful for businesses, the one I work for does this frequently. More importantly though it's what this gesture represents. She is an elected figure, representing the people. Mike Ashley rejected her approach, despite the concerns about bad PR. We all knew he doesn't give a fuck, but this is really on the nose.
